Wisuda ke-133 UNNES, 1.489 Lulusan Generasi Digital Siap Mengabdi

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) kembali menggelar upacara wisuda periode ke-133 pada Sabtu (27/9) di Auditorium Prof. Wuryanto UNNES. Pada kesempatan ini, sebanyak 1.489 wisudawan resmi dikukuhkan sebagai lulusan dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan.

Laporan Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik mencatat, jumlah wisudawan terdiri atas 4 lulusan doktor, 46 lulusan magister, dan 1.439 lulusan sarjana. Secara keseluruhan, rata-rata Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) yang dicapai mencapai 3,72. Dengan rincian, rata-rata IPK program doktor adalah 3,99, magister 3,88, dan sarjana 3,71. Pada periode ini, IPK tertinggi berhasil diraih oleh lulusan program doktor dan magister dengan nilai 4,00, serta program sarjana dengan nilai 3,99.

Rektor UNNES, Prof. Dr. S. Martono, M.Si., dalam pidatonya menegaskan bahwa wisuda kali ini memiliki makna khusus karena sebagian besar lulusan adalah Generasi Z (Gen Z). Menurutnya, Gen Z memiliki keunggulan yang lahir dari kedekatannya dengan teknologi digital sejak dini.

“Generasi Z memiliki keterampilan digital yang alami, kreativitas tinggi, kemampuan adaptasi yang cepat, serta kepedulian terhadap isu-isu global. Karakter ini adalah modal penting untuk menghadapi dunia kerja dan kehidupan sosial yang terus berubah,” jelasnya.

Namun, Prof. Martono juga mengingatkan bahwa di balik keunggulan tersebut, Gen Z kerap menghadapi tantangan seperti tekanan untuk sukses, kecenderungan cemas, hingga jebakan disinformasi digital. Oleh karena itu, ia mengajak para wisudawan untuk menyeimbangkan kemampuan teknologi dengan karakter unggul dan budi pekerti luhur.

“Prestasi akan semakin kokoh jika dibangun di atas fondasi akhlak dan etika. Dengan begitu, lulusan UNNES tidak hanya cerdas secara akademik, tetapi juga berkarakter, mampu bekerja sama, dan memberi manfaat bagi sesama,” tambah Guru Besar Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis.

Dengan kelulusan 1.489 mahasiswa pada periode ini, UNNES semakin meneguhkan perannya sebagai universitas berwawasan konservasi dan bereputasi internasional. Lulusan yang sebagian besar berasal dari generasi digital diharapkan dapat menjadi motor perubahan positif, membawa inovasi, serta menjawab tantangan bangsa dan dunia di masa depan.
