Jan Mujiyanto-Intan Permata Pimpin Kantor Urusan Internasional

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman melantik Dr Januarius Mujiyanto Mujiyanto sebagai Kepala Urusan Internasional, Senin (3/3), di rektorat.
Bersamaan dengan itu, dilantik pula Intan Permata Hapsari sebagai sekretaris. Keduanya adalah dosen Jurusan Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS).

Seusai dilantik, Januarius menyatakan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) memantapkan diri menjadi universitas bertaraf internasional (world class iniversity) dengan memaksimalkan website berbahasa asing.

Selama ini, kata dia, Unnes telah memiliki informasi dalam bahasa Inggris, namun belum dioptimalkan. “Ke depan, berbagai informasi di kampus Unnes harus dikabarkan secara lebih luas,” ujarnya.

Melalui upaya itu, diharapkan Unnes makin dikenal di kancah internasional. “Hal itu merupakan langkah awal merealisasikan internasionalisasi kurikulum, kerja sama penelitian dengan luar negeri, dan akan mengirim profesor ke sekolah Indonesia yang ada di luar negeri sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat,” katanya.

Menanggapi hal itu, Rektor Unnes mengharapkan Kantor Urusan Internasional yang bergerak di bawah Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama menjadi pintu masuk utama untuk mewujudkan visi internasional Universitas Konservasi.

“Selain terus menjaring sumber daya manusia berbakat agar mau bergabung membesarkan Universitas Konservasi, Unnes perlu menempatkan mereka yang berbakat pada bidang masing-masing,” katanya.
