Webinar Internasional FBS UNNES, Rektor UNNES Tekankan Pentingnya Ilmu Seni Sosial Humaniora Untuk Membangun Peradaban

Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menggelar Webinar Internasional yang mengangkat tema “Peran Startegis Rumpun Ilmu Sosial Humaniora di Lanskap Nasional dan Global” yang dilaksanakan secara Daring, Rabu (4/8).

Webinar Internasional ini mengahadirkan narasumber Kepala Pusat Penelitian Masyarakat dan Budaya Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia Prof Ahmad Najib Burhani dan Dina Afrianty PhD Law School, La Trobe University, Australia.

Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum saat membuka kegiatan menyebutkan Ilmu sosial-humaniora sangat penting dalam memberi makna kehidupan dan membangun peradaban umat manusia.

“Ilmu Sosial humaniora mengalami Devaluasi dan Peminggiran. Peminggiran inu bersifat massif: paradigma hingga teknis, yang berdampak pada pengurangan akademisi, departemen dan dukungan finansial pada ilmu-ilmu sosial humaniora, untuk itu Perguruan Tinggi tergugah untuk berkontribusi memperkuat State of The Art Ilmu Sosial Humaniora. Perguruan tinggi harus menawarkan solusi. Revolusi pengetahuan menunjukkan peran sosial humaniora sangat penting. Ilmu humaniora membuat kehidupan lebih bermakna sesuai nilai-nilai luhur individu dan komunitas sekaligus dalam membangun peradaban dalam berbangsa dan bernegara,” jelas Prof Fathur Rokhman.

Lebih lanjut, Rektor UNNES menekankan agar perguruan tinggi terus membangun state of the art keilmuan sosial dan humaniora yang kokoh, membangun nilai dan karakter sosial dan memberikan pencerahan dan kesadaran masyarakat dengan problem solving.

“Kegiatan webinar internasional ini relevan dengan visi UNNES dan nilai-nilai konservasi. Semoga kegiatan ini memberikan rekomendasi peningkatan peran dan strategi ilmu sosial dan humaniora dalam pembangunan manusia Indonesia,” pungkasnya.

Kepala Pusat Penelitian Masyarakat dan Budaya LIPI Prof Ahmad Najib Burhani menyebutkan peran ilmu sosial dan humaniora sangat berpengaruh dalam pembangunan untuk menjaga nilai kemanusiaan.

Sementara, Dina Afrianty PhD menjelaskan humaniora, seni dan ilmu Sosial yang ada di Australia menjadi sebuah refleksi dari akademisi diaspora.

Dekan FBS UNNES Dr Sri Rejeki Urip MHum berharap kegiatan ini dapat memberikan sumbangsih penting dalam menerjemahkan pemikiran-pemikiran teoretis dan ide-ide pembangunan yang ideal ke dalam langkah-langkah operasional yang konkret, sehingga program pembangunan dapat diimplementasikan secara nyata sesuai dengan kebudayaan, kondisi dan aspirasi masyarakat.

Kegiatan webinar Internasional ini diikuti sekitar 500an partisipan dari dalam dan maupun luar negeri.
