WD 3 FT UNNES Paparkan Roadmap Penelitian di UNS

Roadmap Penelitian dan Pengabdian pada Perguruan Tinggi harus bisa menopang pertumbuhan industri.  Hal tersebut disampaikan Wakil Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan Fakultas Teknik UNNES Dr Wirawan Sambodo saat menjadi  pembicara dalam Workshop Pengembangan Roadmap Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat di FKIP UNS, Kamis 24/6.

Dr Wirawan Sumbodo MT yang  juga sebagai dosen FT UNNES  mengatakan bahwa Roadmap riset di perguruan harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan Industri.

“Riset dunia perguruan tinggi harus bisa menghasilkan inovasi agar industri Indonesia bisa berkembang lebih baik dari Negara lain. Industri yang berkembang kuat didukung oleh riset perguruan tinggi akan berdampak pada kemajuan dan kemakmuran bangsa. Negara-negara maju memiliki industri yang kuat menghasilkan produk ekspor yang menghasilkan devisa berlimpah untuk kemakmuran bangsanya. Oleh karena itu roadmap penelitian dan pengabdian diperguruan tinggi tidak hanya menghasilkan artikel bereputasi internasional, namun memiliki dampak pada pertumbuhan industri di Indonesia,” terang Dr Wirawan.

Lebih lanjut Dr Wirawan menyampaikan Pertumbuhan Industri yang kuat akan tercapai bila riset-riset perguruan tinggi memberikan solusi kepada industri mitra agar lebih efisien dengan melakukan otomasi pada proses produksinya. Penggunaan Teknologi informasi (IoT, dll) pada proses produksi akan berdampak pada pengurangan tenaga kerja dan peningkatan kualitas produk meningkatkan daya saing industri di era global.

“Setiap perguruan tinggi perlu menyediakan laboratorium untuk riset kolaborasi yang berorientasi pada pengembangan industri mitra. Bila riset perguruan tinggi sudah bisa menghasilkan produk inovasi yang diperlukan industri, bukan hanya menguatkan industri yang ada, namun akan melahirkan industri-industri baru yang mampu mengantarkan negara kita bisa menjadi negara maju yang sejajar dengan negara di dunia,” terang Dr Wirawan.

Pada kegiatan tersebut Dr Wirawan menyampaikan materi bersama Prof Dr Slamet Subiyantoro,  Prof Dr Rustono MHum, Prof Dr Bruri Triyono dan Dr Iwa Kuntadi.
