Prof Sudijono: Wayang Bernilai Adiluhung

Tak seperti biasanya ratusan orang memenuhi halaman parkir auditorium Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Sabtu malam (30/3).

Mereka ingin melihat pementasan wayang kulit yang dimainkan dalang kondang Ki Anom Suroto dan Ki Bayu Aji dengan lakon “Wahyu Purbakayun”. Turut meramaikan pula bintang tamu kenamaan Kirun, Gareng Ngesti Pandhawa, dan para finalis Sinden Idol

Gubernur Bibit Waluyo beserta istri hadir sesaat setelah adegan gara-gara. Selain itu hadir pula Sri Puryono Plt Sekda Provinsi Jateng dan beberapa pejabat lain di lingkungan Unnes.

“Seni pertunjukan wayang mengandung nilai-nilai adiluhung,” kata Rektor Unnes Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo, ketika memberikan sambutan.

Dikatakannya, sekarang bagaimana meneruskan nilai-nilai adiluhung dari para pendahulu dari nenek moyang kita yang mempunyai pikiran ke depan melalui seni pertunjukan wayang.

“Dalam pertunjukan wayang ada pesan-pesan moral, ada nilai-nilai kehidupan, dan nilai-nilai sosial yang terus menerus harus diabdikan bagi sesama diantara kita,” katanya.

Rektor juga mengatakan, Unnes memiliki Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni yang mempunyai tugas meneruskan nilai-nilai adiluhung kepada sesama dan harus menyambung menguatkan mata rantai itu dari waktu ke waktu. “Pergelaran wayang kulit malam ini adalah bagian dari kekuatan mata rantai yang harus dipertahankan oleh kita semua,” ungkapnya.

Rektor mengucapkan terima kasih kepada warga sekitar kampus atas dukungan, partisipasi, dan rasa memiliki terhadap Unnes yang sangat tinggi sehingga Unnes bisa besar seperti ini. “Unnes tidak akan bisa berbuat apa pun tanpa ada sumbangsih dari Bapak/Ibu sekalian,” pungkas Sudijono.

    Memang sangat benar bahwa wayang harus dilestarikan karena memang Adiluhung dan sudah mendunia alias go global. Tetapi nampaknya akhir-akhir ini sepertinya makin menghilang dalam penyiarannya terutama di TV; walau di kenyataan ternyata terus membludag dag dag. Mari kita kembangkan dan teruskan seni budaya adiluhung ini agar anak cucu kita tidak kehilangan. Semoga berhasil dan tetap lestari.
