Wayang Sekarang ibarat Tong Sampah

Pergelaran wayang pada masa sekarang tak ubahnya tong sampah. Apa-apa bisa masuk dan dimasukkan dalam sebuah pertunjukan.

Pengamat wayang Bambang Murtiyoso kembali mengemukakan pernyataan Rahayu Supanggah itu pada Sarasehan Selasa Legen di beranda auditorium kampus Sekaran, Senin (28/3) malam. Sarasehan mengangkat tema “Kelir Tan Winates“.

Kondisi tersebut, lanjut Murtiyoso, tak lepas dari target pakeliran yang sekadar untuk memburu gayeng. “Asalkan bisa gayeng, apa-apa kemudian dimasukkan, tak peduli kehadirannya sesungguhnya merusak pakeliran,” katanya pada sarasehan yang kental sekali dengan nuansa Jawa itu.

Murtiyoso juga mengemukakan kecenderungan para dalang muda menjadi “ora geni, nanging obor blarak“. “Asalkan sudah sampai gara-gara, bukan hanya dalang yang hanya bisa batuk-batuk saja, penonton pun capek, sedangkan sinden cuma SMS-an,” katanya.

Karena itu, dia menyarankan para dalang untuk menjadi sosok yang bisa gendhing, gandhang, gendheng, sekaligus gendhung.  Apa artinya?”Gendhing, artinya dalang harus memiliki cerdas intelektual, emosional, dan spiritual sehingga  peka terhadap perkembangan di sekitar, masyarakat, bangsa, negara, dan dunia.  Gandhang, bukan sekadar lantang, melainkan menguasai teknik pertunjukan wayang, baik sabet, suluk, dhodhogan, keprakan, gending, bahasa, sastra, dramaturgi lakon, dan silsilah wayang,” katanya.

Dijelaskan pula tentang gendheng, yakni ketika mayang, dalang harus sanggup membenamkan masalah-masalah pribadinya, sekalipun misalnya baru saja bertengkar dengan istrinya di rumah.  “Adapun gendhung, selalu percaya diri dalam segala keadaan. Sebab, dalang menjadi pusat perhatian banyak orang. Seolah-olah tidak ada orang lain yang lebih cerdas dan bagus daripada dirinya.”

Meskipun demikian, menjadi dalang tetaplah sulit sehingga tak banyak yang sanggup melakukannya. “Pancen, angele dhalang kuwi nguripke barang mati,” kata Murtiyoso yang prenesan-nya disambut gelak tawa peserta sarasehan.
