Wadah Penyaluran Zakat Unnes Diresmikan

Lembaga amil, zakat, infak, dan sedekah Universitas Negeri Semarang (Lazis Unnes), diresmikan Rektor Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum, Senin (23/6), di kampus Sekaran.

Menurut Rektor, Lazis akan memfasilitasi civitas Unnes yang ingin menyalurkan hartanya bagi masyarakat yang kurang mampu. Hadir dalam kesempatan itu, Ahmad Rofiq dari IAIN Wali Songo Semarang yang juga Sekretaris Umum MUI Jawa Tengah.

Lazis dibentuk dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya kesenjangan sosial di masyarakat, sehingga menyisakan keperihatinan tersendiri. “Setiap bulan Ramadan, Unnes melalui Badan Amalan Islam (BAI) selalu membentuk kepanitiaan zakat, infak, dan sedekah untuk menyalurkan kebutuhan masyarakat yang kurang mampu. Namun peran badan tersebut dinilai belum masksimal,” katanya.

“Oleh sebab itu Lazis Unnes dibentuk sehingga warga Unnes yang ingin menyalurkan hartanya bisa dilakukan kapan saja, tidak harus menunggu satu tahun saat bulan suci Ramadan,” kata Prof Fathur.

Ahmad Rofiq menyampaikan, potensi zakat di Indonesia yang memiliki penduduk dengan jumlah muslim terbesar di dunia, sangat besar, yakni Rp 217,2 triliun per tahun. “Namun realisasinya, yang sudah terurus dengan baik baru Rp 2,3 triliun.

Menurut penelitian UIN Jakarta, kata Ahmad, zakat itu disalurkan secara langsung ke mustahiq, tanpa menggunakan jasa Badan atau Lembaga Amil Zakat. Ada pula yang diurus oleh lembaga amatiran sehingga tidak mempunyai dokumentasi dan administrasi yang baik.

Ketua Pengurus Lazis Unnes Dr Edy Purwanto mengatakan, Lazis Unnes yang beralamat di Kompleks Masjid Ulul Albab kampus Sekaran ini mempunyai program kerja. Program itu antaranya bantuan pendidikan kakak asuh dan orang tua asuh, bimbingan belajar intensif gratis, beasiswa prestasi, pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat sekitar, dan bantuan bencana alam.

    Alhamdulillah Unnes sudah memiliki wadah penyaluran zakat. Ini merupakan bukti bahwa Unnes juga sangat peduli tentang rasa kebersamaan dengan ditunjukkan diresmikannya wadah penyaluran zakat. Warga Unnes bisa menyalurkan hartanya kapan saja. Mari segera berzakat agar rejeki kita berkah. Salam konsrvasi.

    Kalau bisa LAZIS UNNES juga membuat layanan jemput zakat infak dan shodaqoh untuk memfasilitasi temen2 dosen, karyawan atau warga masyarakat umum yang berniat menitipkan zakat, infak dan shodaqohnya namun ada keterbatasan waktu untuk ke MUA. Atau juga bisa membuka layanan via rekening bank tertentu.
