Voice of Conservation Peroleh Medali Perak

Paduan suara Voice of Conservation (VOC) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) memperoleh Medali Perak di ajang Festival Paduan Suara Tingkat Nasional di Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), yang berlangsung pada tanggal 27 Januari sampai dengan 1 Februari di gedung Aula Barat ITB.

Pendamping kegiatan Drs Eko Raharjo MHum, mengapresiasi hasil upaya keras mahasiswa pada Festival paduan suara ini, walaupun belum mendapat Medali Emas. “Delegasi paduan suara Unnes telah berupaya menampilkan yang terbaik di ajang ini, tapi karena persaingan cukup ketat, pada kesempatan ini kita baru memperoleh Medali Perak,” katanya,

Pada ajang ini terdapat 3 tahapan seleksi yang harus dilewati oleh delegasi Unnes. Pertama, tahap seleksi melalui rekaman audi visual untuk menentukan peserta yang berhak mengikuti babak kualifikasi. Tahap kedua babak kualifikasi, pada tahap ini dari semua grup paduan suara berbagai perguruan tinggi se Indonesia diambil 11 peserta yang masuk tahap ketiga yaitu di babak final.

Pada tahap final grup paduan suara Voice of Conservation Unnes yang beranggotakan 42 orang (40 orang penyanyi, 1 orang konduktor dan 1 Orang pengiring), tampil maksimal di hadapan dewan juri dan penonton yang memadadi gedung Aula Barat ITB.

Ketua Rombongan Ambar Tri laksono mengungkapkan, even ini merupakan tonggak awal paduan suara Unnes di level nasional. “Kedepan kami akan mengikuti lomba sejenis, yang lebih bergengsi yaitu Bali International Choir Festival pada 29 Juni s.d 2 Agustus 2015 dan memperoleh hasil yang bisa mengharumkan nama Unnes di Kancah Internasional,” pungkasnya.

    Alhamdulillah diawali dengan Silver Medal,mudah-mudah’an ini titian untuk memperoleh Gold Medal kelak di tahun depan…
    Saya turut bangga pernah menjadi salah satu bagian kecil dari anggota UNNES CHOIR…
