UPT Perpustakaan UNNES Selenggarakan Rakor dan Sharing Session Kepala Perpustakaan Negeri se-Jawa Tengah

UPT Perpustakaan UNNES selenggarakan Rapat Koordinasi dan Sharing Session Kepala Perpustakaan Negeri se-Jawa Tengah pada Kamis (15/9).

UPT Perpustakaan UNNES sebagai penunjang proses pembelajaran tinggi di lingkungan Universitas Negeri Semarang turut memiliki tanggung jawab melaksanakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Salah satu realisasi dari komitmen tersebut adalah UPT Perpustakaan menyelenggarakan Rapat Koordinasi dan Sharing Session Kepala Perpustakaan Negeri se-Jawa Tengah di Gedung Rumah Ilmu UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Semarang.

Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama 4 jam sejak pukul 08:30 hingga pukul 13:00 WIB. Acara ini juga menjadi mercusuar untuk meningkatkan kredibilitas Universitas Negeri Semarang yang memiliki Perpustakaan Modern, memiliki integritas untuk menuju layanan yang lebih baik serta menerapkan konsep-konsep sistem perpustakaan yang terintegrasi dengan sistem akademik Universitas Negeri Semarang.

Peserta yang hadir dalam acara ini sebanyak 66 orang meliputi Kepala Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi Negeri se-Jawa Tengah, Kepala Perpustakaan Instansi Negeri se-Jawa Tengah, Kepala Perpustakaan Daerah se-Jawa Tengah serta beberapa tamu undangan dari luar Provinsi Jawa Tengah.

Kegiatan dibuka oleh Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik UNNES Prof Dr Zaenuri MSi Akt.

Hadir dalam kegiatan ialah Dr Muhammad Rohmadi MHum (Kepala UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Sebelas Maret periode 2015 – 2019) yang memberikan paparannya berjudul “Menetapkan Strategi Membangun Visi Perpustakaan Modern”. Kemudian dilanjutkan oleh Setyo Yuwono SST (Pengelola Pengadaan Barang Jasa Ahli Muda, Biro Umum dan Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa, Kemendikbud Ristek) yang membawakan materi bertema “Menentukan Strategi Perencanaan dan Pengadaan Bahan Pustaka”. Paparan dilanjutkan oleh Dr Yusro Edy Nugroho SS MHum (Kepala UPT Perpustakaan UNNES) dengan paparannya berjudul “Membuat Peta Pengembangan Infrastruktur Layanan Perpustakaan”.

“Perpustakaan perlu meningkatkan frekuensi komunikasi dengan pengguna perpustakaan (pemustaka) untuk mengetahui apa yang dibutuhkan oleh pemustaka sehingga arah kebijakan perpustakaan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pemustaka. Pustakawan juga perlu menjalin komunikasi yang lebih intensif dengan pimpinan lembaga sehingga perpustakaan mendapatkan dukungan dan perhatian dari pimpinan,” jelas Dr Muhammad Rohmadi

Kepala UPT Perpustakaan UNNES Dr Yusro Edy Nugroho SS MHum menekankan bahwa kegiatan sharing session ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi perpustakaan di Jawa Tengah untuk dapat bekerja sama dan melakukan kolaborasi sesuai instruksi dari Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia Nadiem Anwar Makarim BA MBA.
