UPT Perpustakaan Gelar Workshop Research in Librarianship

Diperlukan berbagai upaya untuk mempercepat peningkatan karier jabatan fungsional pustakawan (JPF). Workshop Pengembangan Research in Librarianship di Bandungan, Kamis – Jumat, 19 – 20 Juli 2012 yang digelar UPT Perpustakaan Unnes merupakan bagian dari upaya itu.
Dalam pelatihan itu mengemuka, profesi pustakawan telah menjadi perbincangan intens di kalangan pustakawan Indonesia. Salah satunya tentang sertifikasi pustakawan, yang mensyaratkan kompetensi profesi. “Kompetensi profesi notabene erat hubungannya dengan hasil kerja pustakawan dapat dibedakan menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kompetensi profesional dan kompetensi individual,” ungkap Koordinator Pelaksana Kegiatan MZ Eko Handoyo kepada unnes.ac.id.
Kegiatan yang dapat memacu motivasi dalam kegiatan tulis-menulis bagi pustakawan itu bertujuan menambah kemampuan melakukan riset berbasis kajian kepustakawanan. Selain itu, untuk diikutkan dalam Lomba Penulisan Karya Ilmiah Kepustakawanan Berbasis Kajian Tahun 2012, yang diselenggarakan oleh Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia.

Kegiatan yang diikuti 10 pustakawan dan tenaga administrasi UPT Perpustakaan Unnes menghadirkan narasumber dan reviewer Dr Sutikno ST MT (Kepala UPT Perpustakaan) dan Dr Ir Dyah Rini Indriyanti MP, dosen Jurusan Biologi Unnes yang juga anggota Tim Pengembang Jurnal Unnes.

Dr Sutikno menyampaikan harapan kegiatan ini dapat memicu pustakawan Unnes lebih giat melakukan riset kepustakawanan dan rajin membuat karya ilmiah berbasis kajian lainnya. Lebih lanjut dia mengharapkan melalui kegiatan ini dihasilkan beberapa proposal yang dapat diikutkan dalam Lomba Penulisan Karya Ilmiah Kepustakawanan Berbasis Kajian yang diselenggarakan oleh Perpusnas RI dan pendaftaran/pengiriman proposalnya sampai dengan 25 Agustus 2012.

    Sippp pustakawan emang harus rajin menulis kok ,,, dan smoga dengan adanya kegiatan tersebut bisa menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan buat teman teman smua untuk mengikuti lomba Penulisan Karya Ilmiah di Perpusnas ,,, Be Happy ,,,,
