UPT Humas UNNES Adakan Kunjungan Kerja Ke Universitas Brawijaya

Peningkatan kinerja layanan dan benchmarking performa kerja dengan perguruan tinggi lain merupakan bagian dari kebutuhan suatu lembaga Pendidikan dalam meningkatkan reputasi dan kualitas layanan. Hal tersbutlah yang menjadi latar belakang Unit Pelaksana Teknis Hubungan Masyarakat Universitas Negeri Semarang (UPT Humas UNNES) menyeenggarakan kunjungan kerja ke Biro Kearsipan dan Kehumasan Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Malang pada Jumat (21/10).

Kunjungan kerja kali ini dipimpin oleh Kepala UPT Humas Hendi Pratama MA yang didampingi oleh jajaran staf Humas UNNES. Saat menyambut kunjungen kerja, Kepala Biro Umum dan Kepegawaian Universitas Brawijaya, Drs Syarif Hutomo MM didampingi oleh Kasubag Humas, Kasubag Protokoler, Perwakilan dari UBTV, serta Pejabat Dokumentasi Informasi dan Keluhan.

Dalam kunjungan kerja UPT Humas kali ini, terdapat beberapa poin penting yang disampaikan oleh pihak UB, yakni pengenalan universitas, pemberitahuan mengenai pusat informasi terpadu, pengenalan UBTV, serta prosedur kerja Humas UB.

Pertama, materi mengenai pengenalan UB diberikan oleh Syarif Hutomo. Dalam hal ini, beliau menyampaikan mengenai logo dan maskot universitas, dilanjutkan dengan profil biro pelayanan mahasiswa UB beserta perencanaan branding UB kedepannya.

Kedua, UB juga mengenalkan mengenai pentingnya keberadaan Pejabat Dokumentasi Informasi dan Keluhan. Sebagai universitas negeri yang menjadi penyedia jasa kependidikan, UB akan memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik pada mahasiswanya. Adanya PDIK ini penting untuk menjadi mediator penyampaian keluhan mahasiswa ke pejabat universitas.

Ketiga, untuk menyosialisasikan informasi mengenai UB, terdapat pula platform berupa saluran TV lokal yang disebut sebagai UBTV. Saluran inilah yang menyiarkan kegiatan penting di sekitar kampus UB selama 14 jam di wilayah Malang dan sekitarnya.

Keempat, materi ditutup dengan pemberian informasi teknis mengenai kehumasan di UB. Informasi yang diberikan berkaitan dengan bermacam-macam prosedur, antara lain, prosedur pemberitaan, prosedur pengelolaan website dan koran universitas, serta prosedur press conference dan press release.

Diskusi ditutup dengan pemberian cinderamata dan oleh-oleh dari pihak UNNES dan pemberian buletin PRASETYA dari pihak UB. Acara dilanjutkan dengan survei ke studio UBTV.

Ditanya mengenai kunjungan kerja kali ini, Hendi menyatakan bahwa program ini merupakan bentuk bahwa UPT Humas UNNES selalu melangkah ke depan untuk meningkatkan reputasi Universitas. Kunjungan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran pada UNNES mengenai prosedur kehumasan dari universitas negeri lain sebagai refleksi peningkatan kinerja UPT Humas di masa depan.
