UNNES Tuan Rumah Sukmalindo X Tahun 2017

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menjadi “Tuan Rumah” event pertandingan olahraga persahabatan antara Malaysia dan Indonesia dalam kegiatan Sukan Malaysia Indonesia (Sukmalindo) X Tahun 2017.

Kegiatan dibuka oleh Sekretaris Jenderal Badan Pembina Olahraga Mahasiswa Indonesia (BAPOMI) Dr Didin Wahidin MPd, Jumat (10/11/2017) di auditorium UNNES Sekaran Gunungpati.

Hadir dari Malaysia, Prof Maya Dr Sopian Bujang (Ketua Delegasi), Prof Dr Nik Wan Bin Omar (Ketua Kontingen), Prof Dato’Dr Abdullah Mohammad Said, Riduan Bin Mohammed Arof, Tony Azman Hassan. Sedangkan dari UNNES Wakil Rektor BIdang Kemahasiswaan Dr Bambang Budi Raharjo, Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK) Prof Dr Tandiyo Rahayu MPd, Dekan FE Dr Wahyono MM, dan pejabat terkait di lingkungan UNNES.

Kegiatan berlangsung sampai 12 November diikuti 161 peserta terdiri atas 58 atlet dan 11 pelatih untuk Indonesia, serta 64 atlet dan 39 pelatih dan sekretariat untuk Malaysia. Ada 5 cabang yang dilombakan yakni Futsal, Voli, Sepak Takraw, Bulu Tangkis, dan Panahan. Kemudian, ditambah Kebudayaan yakni pentas tari bersama.

Dr Didin Wahidin yang juga Direktur Kemahasiswaan Direktorat Jenderal Pembelajaraan dan Mahasiswa (Belmawa) menyampaikan, kegiatan ini sebagai alat pemersatu antara Indonesia dan Malaysia.

Didin Wahidin berharap, Sukmalindo ini diharapkan bisa menjadi alat pemersatu kedua bangsa, agar bia terus terjalin silaturahmi yang baik.

Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum menyampaikan selamat datang para Delegasi Malaysia di Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Universitas Konservasi dalam acara yang sangat luar biasa ini yakni Sukan Malaysia-Indonesia (Sukmalindo).

Hari ini tepat 10 November, Hari peringatan Pahlawan artinya yakni para mahasiswa antara Indonesia dan Malaysia adalah penerus perjuangan pahlawan masing masing negara untuk memperjuangkan agar negara Indonesia dan negra Malaysia semakin berjaya.
