Unnes Terima 2.641 Mahasiswa SBMPTN

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menerima mahasiswa baru lewat jalur Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) sejumah 2.641 dari total jumalah pendaftar 48.591.

Pembantu Rektor I Bidang Akademik Unnes Prof Dr Rustono MHum mengatakan dari 48.591 pendaftar SBMPTN ke Unnes, 15.569 mendaftar program Saintek, 33.022 mendaftar Soshum. Dan pada SBMPTN tahun ini Unnes menempati peringkat ke-7 PTN paling diminati di Indonesia.

“Angka keketatan yang diterima di Unnes lewat SBMPTN adalah 5,065 %, artinya tiap 100 pendaftar maka yang diterima hanya 5 orang. Dan untuk bidik misi pendaftar 855 orang dengan keketatan 34,74%. Tingkat keketanan di Unnes, tertinggi Teknik Informatika, dari 1.359 peminat maka yang diterima 17 orang (atau keketatan 1,25 % yang artinya tiap 100 pendaftar diterima 1,25 orang atau hanya 1 orang). Posisi terketat kedua Teknik Mesin (peminat 798, diterima 12 orang atau keketatan 1,5%, kemudian Teknik Sipil dengan 972 peminat, diterima 16, Teknik Arsitektur 681 peminat diterima 17 orang (2,5 %), Pendidikan IPA 1.009 diterima 27 atau keketatan 2,68” ujar Prof Rustono.

Menurut Prof Rustono kuota SBMPTN Unnes tahun 2015 ini semula 1.848 (sekitar 30 persen dari total kuota mahasiswa baru Unnes 2015) tetapi mendapat tambahan menjadi 2.641 karena ada sejumlah calon mahasiswa yang sebetulnya diterima SNMPTN Unnes tetapi mengundurkan diri atau tidak daftar ulang. Juga dikarenakan ada sejumlah calon yang dibatalkan kelulusannya karena diketahui dokumennya tidak lengkap (misal tanpa foto) dan karena indikasi melakukan kecurangan nilai rapor maupun sertifikat prestasi.
