UNNES Tandatangi MoU dengan Kateb University, dan Shifa University Afghanistan

Dalam rangka membangun dan mengembangkan kerjasama, Universitas Negeri Semarang menandatangani MoU antara UNNES dengan Kateb University, dan Shifa University Afghanistan di Gedung Rektorat secara Daring maupun Luring, Selasa (27/4).

Dalam sambutannya, Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman Mhum menyampaikan selamat datang kepada para tamu yang terhormat dalam acara penandatanganan MoU antara Universitas Negeri Semarang dan Shifa University dan Kateb University di Kabul, Afghanistan ini.

“Selamat datang kepada His Excellency Faizullah Zaki Ibrahimi, the Ambassador of Islamic Republic Afghanistan to the Republic of Indonesia, His Excellency Dr Arief Rachman MD the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Islamic Republic Afghanistan, Dr Mirwais Elmy, The Chancellor of Shifa University dan Prof Ali Ahmad Yousefi, The Chancellor of Kateb University, “tutur Prof Fathur Rokhman.

Penandatangan MoU antara UNNES dan Shifa University dan Kateb University di Kabul, Afghanistan ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan kerja sama pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, serta pengembangan Sumber Daya manusia (SDM).

Prof Fathur menambahkan, UNNES sebagai Universitas Berwawasan Konsrvasi dan Bereputasi Internasional terus membangun dan mengembangkan kerjasama dengan institusi di Indonesia dan luar negeri untuk meningkatkan sumber daya manusia dan membawa kebaikan bagi dunia.

“Dan untuk mencapai visinya, kami memiliki tagline UNNES adalah Rumah Pengetahuan yang Mengembangkan Peradaban, “jelas Guru Besar Sosiolingusitik tersebut.

Selain itu, Prof Fathur menyampaikan, UNNES dikenal sebagai Institut Pengajaran Pendidikan Tinggi, dengan tujuan utama: Tumbuh sebagai universitas riset dan universitas pengajaran.

Dalam kesempatan ini juga, UNNES menandatangani Implementasi Perdamaian yang ada di Afhganistan.

Lebih lanjut, Prof Fathur menyampaikan UNNES akan mendukung Majelis Ulama Afghanistan memperkuat suasana spiritual untuk Afghanistan yang damai.

“Hari ini adalah hari yang sangat spesial bagi UNNES. Kami memiliki dua duta besar bersama kami di sini, sungguh suatu kehormatan UNNES memiliki reputasi internasional dari Afghanistan, jantung negara ASIA. Dengan segala cara Kedutaan Besar Republik Islam Afghanistan untuk Republik Indonesia dan Republik Indonesia untuk Republik Islam Afghanistan dan tentunya UNNES akan menandatangani Implementasi Pengaturan mengenai masalah ini,” kata Rektor UNNES.

Duta Besar Republik Indonesia untuk Afghanistan His Exceleency (HE) Mayjen (Purn) TNI Dr Arif Rachman MD menyampaikan kebanggaannya dapat menjalin kemitraan dengan UNNES .

“Saya bangga bisa menjadi bagian dari kemitraan UNNES. Kampus ini adalah salah satu kampus terbaik, bukan salah satunya tapi satu-satunya kampus terbaik di Indonesia,” papar Dr Arif Rachman.

Sementara itu, Faizullah Zaki Ibrahimi meengapresiasi kerjasama yang terjalin antara UNNES dengan dua institusi di Afghanistan. Harapannya kerjasama ini dapat diimplementasikan untuk mendukung perdamaian yang ada di Afghanistan, pungkasnya.
