UNNES Tambah Dua Profesor

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Rabu (23/11) menambah dua Profesor Bidang Ekonomi Industri dan Bidang Pendidikan Lingkungan.

Mereka Prof Dr P Eko Prasetyo SE MSi (Bidang Ekonomi Industri) dari Fakultas Ekonomi dan Prof Dr Sri Ngabekti MS (Bidang Pendidikan Lingkungan) dari Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam.

Upacara pengukuhan dengan senat terbuka dipimpin oleh Rektor Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum di auditorium kampus Sekaran.

Prof Fathur menyampaikan, Prof Dr P Eko Prasetyo SE MSi merupakan Guru Besar UNNES ke 103, dan Prof Dr Sri Ngabekti MS ke 104. Kami ucapkan selamat atas capaian prestasi akademik tertinggi ini.

Dengan bertambahnya dua profesor ini diharapkan semakin cepat capaian visi UNNES, dan selalu meningkatkan prestasi akademik untuk lembaga. Untuk itu tiga tugas berat seorang profesor harus dipenuhi yakni menulis buka ber ISBN, menulis artikel tingkat nasional dan internasional, serta menjadi nara sumber baik nasional maupun internasional.

Peran Profesor UNNES yakni sebagai penguatan atmosfer akademik untuk memperkaya inovasi dan publikasi ilmiah, Inovasi pembelajaran, penelitian unggulan melalui kolaborasi, hilirisasi penelitian, dan membangun komunitas ilmiah.

Prof Dr P Eko Prasetyo SE MSi dalam pidatonya berjudul Ekologi Industri dan Industri Kreatif Inovatif sebagai Pencegah Deindustrialisasi dan Pendorong Daya Saing Pembangunan Berkelanjutan.

Prof Eko Prasetyo menyampaikan, kebijakan pembanguanan industri di Indonesia harus diarahkan untuk menjawab tantangan globalisasi ekonomi dunia yang terus berkembang maju tanpa harus meninggalkan kepentingan domestiknya. Serta harus tetap mampu mengantisipasi perubahan lingkungan dan sosial yang cepat dan terus bergejolak.

Selain membangun infrastruktur yang baik, Indonesia juga harus segera meregulasi birokrasi yang mahal dan lambat, membangun infrastruktur dan memberantas pungli, serta segeri memiliki roadmap industri yang lengkap dan utuh berdasarkan industri unggulan dan industri andalan yang dibangun berdasarkan kemampuan kapasitas kecerdasan SDM yang tangguh agar mampu dengan cepat mengubah masalah deindustrialisasi menjadi industri yang kuat, maju, dan tangguh serta memiliki daya saing kompetitif secara berkelanjutan.

Sedangkan Prof Dr Sri Ngabekti MS pidato pengukuhan berjudul Dari Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup Menuju Pendidikan untuk Pembangunan Berkelanjutan.

Prof Sri Ngabekti menuturkan telah melakukan eksplorasi persepsi, sikap, dan praktek pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan (PPB) di Pondok Pesantren Modern Selamat Kendal yakni untuk menemukan konsep pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan yang sesuai dengan kondisi masyarakat Indonesia yang religius.

Menurut Sri Ngabekti menemukan lima dimensi pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan yakni edukasional, lingkungan, ekonomi, sosial-budaya, spiritual.

Kelima dimensi itu, dimensi spirituallah yang diyakini sebagai dimensi yang paling berpengaruh terhadap pembangunan berkelanjutan.
