UNNES Siap Sosialisasikan Aturan Baru Seleksi Masuk PTN 2019

Ada yang berbeda dengan Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (PMB) tahun 2019 ini. Penerimaan mahasiswa tahun ini mengenalkan sebuah lembaga baru yang memiliki peranan strategis. Lembaga tersebut adalah Lembaga Tes Masuk Perguruan Tinggi (LTMPT).

Hal tersebutlah yang disampaikan oleh Humas UNNES Setyo Yuwono pada sosialisasi LTMPT yang bertempat di SMA Negeri 2 Pemalang, Rabu (16/1).

Sebagai lembaga dari Kemristekdikti yang diluncurkan pada Jumat (4/1), LTMPT memiliki kewenangan untuk menangani penerimaan mahasiswa baru melalui jalur SNMPTN dan SBMPTN.

Lembaga Tes Masuk Perguruan Tinggi (LTMPT) merupakan lembaga penyelenggara tes masuk perguruan tinggi bagi calon mahasiswa baru, lembaga ini berada di bawah naungan Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi Republik Indonesia.

“Sebagai satu-satunya lembaga penyelenggara tes perguruan tinggi terstandar di Indonesia, LTMPT merupakan pijakan pertama bagi calon mahasiswa dan mahasiswi terpilih dalam menggapai cita-cita,” jelas Tyo.

LTMPT, imbuhnya, memposisikan diri sebagai lembaga penyelenggara tes masuk perguruan tinggi yang terbaik dan terdepan di Indonesia. LTMPT memiliki tujuan khusus yakni melaksanakan tes masuk perguruan tinggi yang kredibel, adil, transparan, fleksibel, efisien, dan akuntabel.

Selain itu, LTMPT hadir didasarkan pada semangat bersama guna memperoleh in take para calon mahasiswa yang mengacu pada kemampuan potensi mereka secara proposional dan berkeadilan.

“Jika di tahun sebelumnya, tes dilaksanakan dengan sistem ujian tulis berbasis cetak maka ditahun 2019 akan dilaksanakan ujian berbasis komputer,” jelas Tyo dihadapan peserta sosialisasi.

Sosialisasi diikuti oleh 200 Guru BK dan Operator Sekolah (OS) serta 150 siswa di daerah Kabupaten Pemalang.

Ketua Musyawarah Kerja Kepala Sekolah (MKKS) Kabupaten Pemalang Drs Ayanto MPd mengapresiasi langkah UNNES untuk mengunjungi unit kerjanya.

Tyo menekankan, pada tahun 2019, peserta harus mengikuti tes terlebih dahulu kemudian mendapatkan nilai UTBK. Nilai tersebut, dapat digunakan untuk mendaftar ke PTN.

“Jadi dapat nilai baru dulu baru pilih Prodinya. Selain itu, kebaharuan lainnya, pola seleksi masuk PTN tahun 2019 akan dilaksanakan melalui tiga jalur yaitu, SNMPTN dengan daya tampung minimal 20%, SBMPTN minimal 40% dan Seleksi Mandiri maksimal 30% dari kuota daya tampung tiap prodi di PTN,” tegas Tyo.

Selain Kabupaten Pemalang, UNNES juga mengagendakan Kabupaten/Kota lainnya sebagai sasaran sosialisasi penerimaan mahasiswa tahun ini. Diantaranya Kendal, Tegal, Pekalongan, dan Batang.
