UNNES Raih Penghargaan Pendamping Terbaik Program Kosabangsa Kemdiktisaintek

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) kembali menorehkan prestasi membanggakan. Dalam ajang Seminar Hasil Program Kolaborasi Sosial Membangun Masyarakat (Kosabangsa) Tahun Pelaksanaan 2024 yang diselenggarakan oleh Direktorat Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (DPPM) Ditjen Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains dan Teknologi (Kemdiktisaintek), tim pendamping dari UNNES berhasil meraih Juara 3 kategori Tim Pendamping Terbaik.

Penghargaan bergengsi ini diserahkan secara simbolis kepada ketua tim pendamping UNNES, Prof. Dr. Tjaturahono Budi Sanjoto, M.Si., yang hadir bersama anggota tim yaitu Prof. Dr. Rini Kusumawardani, S.T., M.T., M.Sc. dan Danang Dwi Saputro, S.T., M.T. Tim ini menjadi mitra pendamping dari Universitas Ivet dalam implementasi Program Kosabangsa di Desa Tunggulsari, Kabupaten Pati.

Kegiatan Seminar Hasil berlangsung pada Kamis hingga Jumat (15-16/5/2025) di Balai Guru Penggerak (BGP) Provinsi Bali, bekerja sama dengan Institut Pariwisata dan Bisnis Internasional (IPBI), dan dihadiri oleh lebih dari 70 perguruan tinggi dari seluruh Indonesia. Acara ini dibuka secara resmi oleh Prof. apt. I Ketut Adnyana, Ph.D., selaku Direktur DPPM, yang menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi lintas institusi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan masyarakat.

Program Kosabangsa yang digagas sejak 2022 ini dirancang untuk mendorong keterlibatan aktif perguruan tinggi dalam menyelesaikan persoalan riil di masyarakat. Dalam kolaborasi antara UNNES dan Universitas Ivet ini, berbagai inovasi teknologi diterapkan di Desa Tunggulsari, seperti sistem mitigasi kebencanaan terintegrasi, pemecah gelombang (breakwater) berbasis hybrid engineering, media edukatif wisata bahari, hingga pemberdayaan UMKM dan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.

Desa Tunggulsari merupakan wilayah pesisir dengan tantangan geografis tinggi, termasuk risiko abrasi dan banjir rob. Namun, potensi kawasan mina mangrove yang luas menjadi peluang besar untuk pengembangan wisata bahari dan ekonomi lokal. Melalui pendampingan ini, tim UNNES dinilai berhasil memberikan multiplier effect nyata dalam peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat serta penguatan ketahanan lingkungan dan ekonomi desa.

Rektor UNNES, Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si., menyampaikan apresiasi atas pencapaian ini.

“Prestasi ini merupakan bukti nyata komitmen UNNES sebagai universitas konservasi dalam menjawab tantangan masyarakat melalui inovasi dan kolaborasi. Kami merasa bangga atas dedikasi tim pendamping UNNES yang telah mengharumkan nama universitas. Semoga penghargaan ini menjadi motivasi bagi sivitas akademika UNNES untuk terus berkarya dan memberi manfaat bagi masyarakat luas,” ungkap Guur Besar Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis itu.

Keberhasilan UNNES dalam Program Kosabangsa 2024 ini mempertegas peran strategis perguruan tinggi dalam pembangunan berbasis riset dan pemberdayaan, serta semakin mengukuhkan UNNES sebagai kampus yang berkontribusi aktif dalam membangun Indonesia dari desa.
