Unnes Raih ISO dan IWA

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) memperoleh Sertifikat International Organization for Standardization atau ISO 9001: 2008 dan IWA 2: 2007 dari PT SGS Indonesia.

Penyerahan sertifikat secara simbolis oleh Comercial Manajer PT SGS Indonesia Waras Andrianti kepada Rektor Prof Dr Sudijono Sastroatmodjo MSi di gedung rektorat kampus Sekaran, Rabu (15/2).

Rektor Unnes kemudian menyerahkan ke unit yang berhak menerima sertifikat antara lain ke delapan dekan (FIP, FBS, FIS, FMIPA, FT, FIK, FE, FH), Ketua Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M), Ketua Badan Penjaminan Mutu, Kepala Badan Pengembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (BPTIK), Kepala Perpustakaan, Kepala Biro Administrasi Umum dan Kepegawaian (BAUK), Kepala Biro Administrasi Akademik Kemahasiswaan dan Kerja Sama, serta 48 program studi di Unnes.

Kegiatan tersebut diselenggarakan oleh Badan Penjaminan Mutu Unnes dilanjutkan diskusi ilmiah oleh Prof Dr Djoko Santoso Dirjen Dikti Kemendikbud RI dengan tema “Kebijakan dan Strategi Penjaminan Mutu Perguruan Tinggi menuju Good University Governance“.

Comercial Manajer PT SGS mengatakan, ISO 9001 merupakan standar internasional di bidang sistem manajemen mutu, di mana standar internasional ini juga dibukukan dengan akreditasi dari pemerintah Inggris sebagai badan akreditasi tertua di dunia.

“Untuk memperoleh sertifikat ISO ini bukanlah mudah. Unnes dipersyaratkan untuk menetapkan visi dan misi dalam rangka pemenuhan kepuasan pelanggan, yakni menyediakan sumber daya yang berkuwalitas, menetapkan sistem operasional prosedur tentang mengimplementasikan jaminan mutu di seluruh pelaksanaan operasional. Tidak hanya di situ saja, Unnes juga dituntut untuk melakukan perbaikan secara terus menerus,” kata Waras Andrianti.

Andrianti juga mengemukakan, perolehan sertifikat ini merupakan wujud komitmen dari level pimpinan paling atas hingga staf. “Ini bukan perjalanan akhir tapi perjalan awal karena dengan diperolehnya ISO 9001: 2008,  kita dituntut untuk terus menerus melakukan perbaikan menuju total quality management,” katanya.

Rektor mengatakan, perolehan ISO ini berkat komitmen kita bersama dalam mengimplementasikan jaminan mutu di segala bidang. Sertifikat yang diterima oleh masing-masing fakultas dan unit itu adalah simbol komitmen bersama menuju budaya mutu. “Justru dibalik perolehan sertifikat inilah tantangan yang amat berat bagi kita semua. Suatu pekerjaan besar dan tanggung jawab untuk mewujudkan dalam perbuatan-perbuatan yang lebih baik lagi bagi pembangunan bangsa dan negara,” papar Rektor.

    perolehan sertifikat ISO ini mudah2an bukan hanya berhenti sekedar lembaran kertas aja,,, yang paling penting adalah pengaplikasian standarisasi di semua bidang benar2 terwujud dalam kondisi yang sebenarnya di lapangan,,, sehingga semua pihak akan merasa puas dengan kondisi pelayanan yang ada di Universitas Negeri Semarang,,,
