Unnes Pelopori Gerakan Kampus Bebas Korupsi

Pemahaman dan kesadaran tentang bahaya tindak pidana korupsi harus ditanamkan sejak dini. Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) sebagai perguruan tinggi pencetak tenaga pendidik pun harus menjadi yang terdepan untuk menggiatkan hal tersebut.

Unnes, dalam hal ini, juga hendak menjadi pelopor kampus yang bersih dan berintegritas. “Sudah semestinya Unnes menjadi pelopor gerakan antikorupsi di Jawa Tengah dan ikut andil dalam menciptakan provinsi berintegritas, transparan, dan bebas dari korupsi,” ujar Ketua Kelompok Kerja Antikorupsi Unnes Dr Eko Handoyo, dalam pertemuan Kelompok Kerja Antikorupsi Unnes dengan Rektor Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum, Senin (3/3) di kampus Sekaran.

Menurut Dr Eko Handoyo, memang tidak mudah membangun pemerintahan yang bersih, transparan, dan bebas korupsi. Namun semua bisa diawali dari tekad yang kuat dan saling mengawasi. “Sasaran gerakan riil ini adalah seluruh civitas Unnes, baik dosen, tenaga kependidikan, dan mahasiswa. Mereka diajak memiliki sikap antikorupsi sekaligus menjadi agen antikorupsi,” ujarnya.

Program kegiatan gerakan tersebut yakni pembangunan unit berintegritas di semua unit di Unnes dan menyelenggarakan pendidikan antikorupsi di semua program studi. “Berbagai penelitian juga ditekankan pada implementasi nilai antikorupsi, pembuatan panduan wilayah bebas dari korupsi, dan penerbitan buku kisah antikorupsi,” katanya.

Program lain, menurut Dr Eko, Kelompok Kerja Antikorupsi bakal membuat program pembuatan best practice wilayah bebas korupsi di Kota Semarang, kampanye dan sosialisasi antikorupsi di sekolah se-Jateng, pembentukan lembaga antikorupsi di Semarang, revitalisasi gerakan mahasiswa anti korupsi.

“Berbagai langkah strategis ini adalah wujud komitmen Unnes untuk turut berkontribusi dalam melakukan pencegahan dan pemberantasan korupsi di Indonesia,” ujar Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum.

Upaya nyata juga diwujudkan Unnes melalui seminar antikorupsi yang bakal menghadirkan Jaksa Agung Basrief Arief dan Ketua Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Abraham Samad, Rabu, 26 Maret 2014.
