Unnes Menuju Peneliti Mandiri

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) selangkah lagi meraih peringkat (klaster) Perguruan Tinggi Mandiri dalam bidang penelitian.

Dalam tiga tahun (2011, 2012, 2013) Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) dinilai oleh Dikti berdasarkan indikator masuk klaster utama. “Saya yakin hasil penelitian jika diseminarkan seperti ini target menjadi klaster mandiri bisa tercapai”.

Ketua Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) Unnes Prof Dr Totok Sumaryanto MPd menyampaikan itu disela sela Seminar Hasil Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Rabu (19/11) di Hotel Grasia Semarang.

Ke depan, kata Prof Totok mengutamakan penelitian dan pengabdian bersifat “Tetrahelix” yakni bentuk program kerjasama antara Perguruan Tinggi, Industri, Pemerintah Daerah, dan Masyarakat.

Prof Totok juga mengemukakan, 2014 Unnes memiliki 27 proposal pengabdian masyarakat terdiri atas Ipteks bagi Masyarakat (IBM) 25 judul, IBKK 1 judul, dan IBK 1 judul. dan 71 judul penelitian disetujui dengan jenis Hibah Bersaing, Pascasarjana, unggulan, serta disertasi doktor.

Seluruh Indonesia perguruan tinggi (PT) yang sudah menyandang klaster Mandiri ada 15 PT diantaranya yang baru Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), dan Universitas Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS). Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Indonesia (UI), dan Universitas Andalas . Kemudian, klaster Utama 31 PT, lainnya di klaster Madya, dan paling bontot di klaster Pembinaan.

2015 meningkat
Kasubdit Penelitian Direktorat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Dikti Desmelita mengatakan, gairah para dosen untuk melakukan penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat saat ini meningkat.

Tahun 2014 ada 11.000 proposal penelitian dan 2.500 an proposal pengabdian masyarakat disetujui oleh Dikti.

Tahun 2013 dana yang dialokasikan Dikti untuk penelitian dan pengabdian Rp 800 Miliar, 2014 Rp 900 Miliar, dan tahun depan (2015) meningkat menjadi Rp 1,365 Triliun.
