Wabah Corona Virus 19 (Covid19) yang melanda Indonesia menuntut setiap warganya untuk hidup sehat dan disiplin dalam melaksanakan protokol kesehatan yang dibuat sebagai bentuk pencegahan terhadap pandemi Covid 19. UNNES sebagai Stakeholder Pemerintah yang ikut mensukseskan program Kampus Merdeka menginisiasi pembuatan handsanitazer dan masker secara mandiri dan membagikan salah satunya kepada jamaah Majelis Ta’lim Al Madinah kediaman Habib Umar Bin Mutohar yang merupakan Tokoh Agama Lingkar Kampus UNNES,Jumat 27/3.

Salah satu santri Wawan F menerangkan bahwa masa sekarang ini sulit dan langka untuk mendapatkan handsanitizer dan masker, sangat terbantu dengan terobosan UNNES yang membuat sendiri dan membagikannya kepada warga disekitaran UNNES, sekaligus sebagai bentuk nyata bina lingkungan dan sinergi bersama masyarakat. saya bangga dengan UNNES imbuhnya, yang juga merupakan alumni Fakultas Tekhnik UNNES.

Dia berharap ke depan UNNES dapat terus memproduksi massal dan membagikannya kepada para tokoh lingkar kampus.

Seperti telah di beritakan sebelumnya Univeritas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) memproduksi Hand Sanitizer dan masker. Produksi Hand Sanitizer dibuat di tiga Fakultas yaitu Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan dan Fakultas Teknik. Untuk Produksi masker dilakukan di laboratorium Jurusan PKK Fakultas Teknik. Hasil Produksi didistribusikan utamanya Sampai saat ini produksi hand sanitizer di Lab Pendidikan kimia: 1350 botol, lab Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakt: 1000 botol, lab Teknik Kimia: 1000 botol @ 500 ml Total 3.350 Botol @500 ml dan Masker yang sudah jadi: 4.500 masker. dan tetap akan produksi selama ketersediaan bahan baku terpenuhi.h7
