Unnes Lepas 294 Sarjana Mendidik ke Aceh dan NTT

Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama Universitas Negeri Semarang, Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum melepas 294 peserta Sajana Mendidik di daerah Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (SM-3T). Pelepasan tersebut ditandai dengan pemakaian jaket oleh peserta di halaman Rektorat kampus Sekaran, Senin (12/12).

Mereka akan mengabdi di 3 daerah, yakni di kabupaten Aceh Besar Provinsi Nangroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) sebanyak 109 orang, di kabupaten Manggarai 94 orang, dan 91 orang di kabupaten Ende, keduanya di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Peserta diberangkatkan secara bertahap mulai tanggal 12 hingga 14 Desember 2011.

“Saya menyampaikan apresiasi yang sangat mendalam pada seluruh sarjana yang siap untuk melangkahkan kaki dengan penuh semangat. Berbekal profesionalisme dan semangat, kalian akan menjadi agen perubahan,” kata Prof Fathur Rokhman.

Dia menambahkan, akses pendidikan ini harus bisa di rasakan oleh seluruh anak bangsa sehingga tercapai pemerataan. “Proses pendidikan antara satu wilayah dengan yang lain belumlah merata. Saudara akan ambil bagian karena berasal dari wilayah yang sudah mampu,” tandasnya.

Kemampuan itu harus ditunjukkan dengan motivasi. Karena bila datang ke wilayah 3T tanpa hal itu, lebih baik mundur karena hanya akan mendapatkan kesulitan. “Saudara dipercaya oleh Unnes sebagai duta ke wilayah itu, maka tunjukkanlah suatu keunggulan. Tidak ada duta yang ngantukan, cileren, lembek dan sebagainya,” tegasnya.

Penanggung jawab pelaksana program SM-3T Dr Hartono MPd melaporkan, program ini merupakan penugasan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan pada 12 Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan (LPTK), Unnes termasuk di dalamnya. “Dengan bermodal sarjana, kita memberikan pengabdian selama 1 tahun. Jika peserta berhasil maka akan difasilitasi untuk mengikuti Program Profesi Guru (PPG) pra jabatan di LPTK pengirim,” ujarnya.

Hartono menambahkan, proses pendaftaran telah dilakukan pada 24 Oktober sampai 5 November 2011 dengan jumlah pendaftar 1.283 orang, dan setelah diseleksi pada tanggal 7 sampai 9 November diperoleh 300 orang. “Kegiatan pra kondisi tanggal 28 November hingga 9 Desember 2011 di Pusdiklat Provinsi Jawa Tengah Srondol Semarang dengan materi profesionalisme, motivasi, kepramukaan, dan ketahanmalangan. Sebanyak 294 orang dinyatakan lulus,” kata Hartono.
