Unnes Lakukan Sosialisasi SNMPTN Serentak di Lima Kabupaten dan Dua Kota

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) serentak menyosialiasasikan Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN) di lima Kabupaten dan dua Kota. Yakni Kabupaten Pekalongan, Kabupaten Pemalang, Kabupaten Tegal, Kabupaten Brebes, dan Kabupaten Batang diagendakan Kamis (11/2). Sedangkan untuk Kota meliputi kota Pekalongan dan Kota Tegal.

Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Unnes Prof Rustono MHum menyampaikan, sosialisasi ini sangat penting sebab pengisian dan verifikasi Pangkalan Data Sekolah dan Siswa (PDSS) yang merupakan basis data berisikan rekam jejak kinerja sekolah dan prestasi akademik siswa sudah dibuka sejak 18 Januari dan akan berakhir 20 Februari 2016. Artinya hanya 10 hari lagi sistem sudah ditutup. Selasa (9/2) di SMA N 2 Pemalang.

Kegiatan diikuti 146 orang kepala sekolah SMA, SMK, MA, guru bimbingan konseling, dan tim teknologi informasi di lingkungan Kabupaten Pemalang.

Hadir Kepala Bidang SLTP/SLTA Drs Khalimi, Pengawas SMA/SMK Rishi Mardiningsih.

Prof Rustono menegaskan, apabila sistem sudah ditutup, namun ada sekolahan yang belum mengisi PDSS maka kesempatan emas bagi siswa untuk mendaftar ke perguruan tinggi lewat jalur SNMPTN tidak bisa, akibatnya siswa dirugikan oleh pihak sekolah.

“Untuk itu tolong kepada kepala sekolah, mohon dengan waktu yang tinggal 10 hari ini dimanfaatkan sebaik mungkin untuk mengisi PDSS,” kata Prof Rustono.

Nara sumber lain bidang teknis, Alfath Yanuarto SKom (Unnes) menyampaikan, jadwal pelaksanaan SNMPTN yakni pengisian dan verifikasi PDSS melalui laman http://pdss.snmptn.ac.id. mulai 18 Januari – 20 Februari, pendaftaran di laman http://www.snmptn.ac.id/ 29 Februari – 12 Maret, pencetakan kartu tanda peserta 22 Maret – 21 April, proses seleksi 24 Maret – 8 Mei.

Kemudian, pengumuman hasil seleksi10 Mei, proses verifikasi dan/atau pendaftaran ulang di PTN masing-masing bagi yang lulus seleksi 31 Mei bersamaan dengan pelaksanaan ujian tertulis SBMPTN 2016

Sebelumnya, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Pemalang Sugiyanto SH MSi saat membuka sosialisasi menyampaikan, ada tiga cara untuk bisa masuk ke perguruan tinggi yakni melalui tanpa tes (SNMPTN), melalui tes (SBMPTN), dan mandiri. Yang tanpa tes kuotanya 40 persen, melalui tes 30 persen, dan mandiri 30 persen. Kuota itu saya peroleh ketika berbincang-bincang kepada Wakil Rektor Unnes Prof Rustono.

Untuk itu mohon diikuti dengan seksama supaya anak didik kita bisa mengisi dengan benar apakah itu masuk melalui tanpa tes, tes, dan mandiri untuk disosialisasikan kepada anak didik dan orang tua.

Selain itu, demi peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Kabupaten Pemalang ini tolong bisa mengawal anak didik yang mengikuti ujian nasional dengan baik dan bisa mengantarkannya masuk ke perguruan tinggi baik itu negeri maupun swasta.
