UNNES Kirimkan Mahasiswa dan Dosen, Perkuat Kontingen Indonesia di Ajang SEA GAMES 2023

Kontingen Indonesia dipastikan diperkuat sebanyak 599 atlet untuk bertarung pada gelaran SEA Games 2023 di Kamboja. Dari total itu, mahasiswa dan dosen Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) ikut memperkuat kontingen Tanah Air.

Ada lima mahasiswa UNNES yang ikut memperkuat kontingen Tanah Air. Di antaranya Safira Dwi Meilani dan Atifa Fismawati yang akan berlaga di cabang olahraga pencak silat, Tharisa Dea Florentina dan Bintang Reindra yang akan bertanding di cabor Wushu, serta Anwar Budi cabor Speak Takraw. Sementara dari dosen UNNES Dr Tri Aji MPd sebagai pelatih Speak Takraw.

Rektor UNNES Prof Dr S Martono MSi mengucapkan selamat berjuang dan bertanding pada perlombaan internasional bergensi SEA Games 2023 di Kamboja.

Prof Martono percaya, lima mahasiswa dan dosen UNNES yang memperkuat kontingen Indonesia dapat memberikan prestasi yang membanggakan.

“Kami berharap agar mahasiswa dan dosen UNNES, yang mewakili Indonesia memberikan kemampuan terbaiknya sehingga membuahkan prestasi yang membanggakan bagi bangsa Indonesia,” ucap Prof Martono.

Diketahui, kelima mahasiswa UNNES tersebut memiliki rekam jejak prestasi yang luar biasa, seperti Safira Dwi Meilani yang pernah meraih emas POMNAS Sumatera Barat 2022, emas Southeast Asian Championship Singapura 2022, dan emas World Pencak Silat Championship Malaysia 2022.

Atifa Fismawati meraih juara 1 World Pencak Silat Championship Melaka Malaysia 2022, juara 1 Asian Pencak Silat Championship Kashmir India 2022 dan juara 1 Pomnas Sumbar 2022.

Sedangkan Tharisa Dea Florentina juga memiliki segudang prestasi seperti juara 2 kejuaraan dunia wushu junior tahun 2018 di Brazilia, juara 3 Pon XX PAPUA wushu kelas 52 kg tahun 2021, dan juara 1 kejuaraan FISU kelas 52 kg tahun 2022 di Turkiye.

Selain Tharisa, Bintang Reindra Nada Guitara juga dipenuhi Raihan juara diantaranya juara 1 60kg senior kejuaraan nasional sirnas semarang 2022, juara 1 56kg kejuaraan nasional junior jakarta 2021 serta juara 2 52kg pra junior word wushu junior championsip Brazil 2018.

Yang terakhir, Anwar Budi atlet speak Takraw ini pernah menjuarai Asean school games juara 1 2019, kejurnas kendal juara 1 2022, dan Pomnas jakarta juara 2 2019.
