10 Mahasiswa PPs Unnes ke Universitas Ohio

Sepuluh mahasiswa Program Pascasarjana (PPs) Unnes akan mengikuti program Sandwich-Like di Universitas Ohio Amerika Serikat. Selama tiga bulan mereka akan melakukan berbagai kegiatan di universitas Paman Sam itu.

Jumat (5/10), di rektorat kampus Sekaran, mereka berpamitan kepada Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kaerja Sama Prof dr Fathur Rokhman. Mereka didampingi Direktur PPs Prof Dr Samsudi dan Asisten Direktur I Prof Dr rernat Wahyu Hardyanto.

Sandwich-Like merupakan program beasiswa yang ditujukan bagi para kandidat doktor se-Indonesia untuk mempercepat proses studi serta menambah pengetahuan serta pengalaman peserta tentang iklim pembelajaran di luar negeri. Program ini dilaksanakan selama 3 – 4 bulan dengan biaya dari Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (Dirjen Dikti).

“Mereka selama tiga bulan akan mengikuti kuliah, melakukan studi pustaka, menulis disertasi dengan pembimbing dari Unnes dan Universitas Ohio,” ungkap Prof Samsudi.

Adapun PR IV Prof Fathur Rokhman berpesan kepada mahasiswa agar menunjukkan pribadi yang berbudaya Timur sebagai representasi diri, lembaga, dan bangsa Indonesia.

“Selamat kepada sepuluh mahasiswa S3 PPs yang akan hadir di Universitas Ohio. Program ini sangat bermakna dalam pengembangan keterampilan, pengetahuan, dan kerja sama, baik secara pribadi maupun kelembagaan. Mahasiswa adalah representasi diri pribadi, lembaga (Unnes), dan bukan hanya pribadi. Maka jadilah pribadi yang menunjukkan sisi keramahan orang Timur, ” katanya.

Sebelumnya, peserta telah mengikuti seleksi pemberkasan oleh Dikti, kursus bahasa Inggris, pelatihan presentasi dalam bahasa Inggris, dan pendalaman pengetahuan tentang budaya Amerika Serikat.  “Peserta diharapkan memiliki kemampuan adaptasi yang cepat sehingga mampu mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik. Harapannya, mereka memiliki skill yang mumpuni tentang riset pustaka, belajar, dan jaringan kerjasama. Peserta juga diharapkan telah mengerjakan disertasinya hingga 80 persen setelah menempuh studi di sana,” kata Prof Samsudi.

Kesepuluh mahasiswa yang akan menempuh kuliah singkat di Universitas Ohio itu adalah Agustina Sri Purnama, Endang Tri Wahyuni M, Wirawan Sumbodo, Suharto, dan Erwin Dwi Edi W, kelimanya mahasiswa Manajemen Pendidikan. Selain itu, Main Sufani, Agustinus Djokowidodo, dan Ateng Kurnia dari Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia serta C Murni Wahyuni dari Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Mereka merupakan mahasiswa S3 PPS Unnes semester IV.

    kepada mahasiswa yang berangkat ke Amerika Serikat……selamat mengerjakan disertasinya….waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh…lama juga 4 bulan diAmerika Serikat…jaga diri, ingat keluarga, ingat lembaga dan ingat bangsa indonesia……disana banyak godaannya diantara fasilitas-fasilitas terlarang misalnya panti pijat, diskotik dll.apalagi Amerika Serikat mengenal hukum bebas artinya setiap individu diperbolehkan berbuat bebas asalkan bukan tindakan anarki saja……..

  3. Ass..pertama saya ucapkan selamat atas 10 Mhs PPs UNNES yang siap ke OHIO manfaatkan sebaik mungkin kesempatan yang diberikan Mhs PPs di OHIO contohlah kemajuan Prodi di OHIO.
    Jangan lupa loo ke GoodWill….
