Unnes Kembangkan Perpustakaan Online

Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dituntut mempunyai buku-buku di berbagai bidang dan selalu mengikuti perkembangan dunia, terdokumentasi dengan rapi, berpelayanan baik, dan memiliki pencitraan baik pula.

Demikian dikatakan Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama (PR IV) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum setelah penandatanganan kerja sama dengan Dra Yuliati, Kepala Badan Arsip dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah di ruang rapat Jalan Setiabudi 201C Srondol Semarang, Kamis (11/11).

“Kerja sama di bidang perpustakaan ini sebagai salah satu bagian dari indikator mutu perguruan tinggi. Alhamdulillah perpustakaan Unnes sudah online,” kata Prof Fathur dalam acara yang dihadiri Kepala UPT Perpustakaan Drs Murgono SIP K, Kepala Kepala Biro Administrasi Akademik Kemahasiswaan dan Kerja SamaDrs Heri Kismaryono MM Pj, Kepala Bagian Kerja Sama Supaat SE MPd , MM Kepala Subbagian Kerjasama Dalam NegeriNur Istikomah SPd.

Dia mengatakan, skripsi dan desertasi akan dikembangkan secara online. “Sebab, kami khawatiran ada duplikasi karya-karya mahasiswa. Sekarang di kota tertentu sudah banyak toko yang menjual skripsi dari berbagai bidang. Bahkan ada yang siap melayani penulisan skripsi,” katanya.

Pembantu Rektor IV juga mengimbau setiap perguruan tinggi untuk mendorong pengembangan perpustakaan secara online.

Dra Yuliati Kepala Badan Arsip dan Perpustakaan mengatakan, dengan terlaksananya kerja sama tersebut, pihaknya bisa memfasilitasi mahasiswa yang mengadakan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di desa-desa. “Meraka sering mengajukan proposal kepada kami untuk pengadaan bagi pendirian taman bacaan untuk masyarakat di tempat meraka menjalankan KKN atau pengabdian kepada masyarakat,” kata Yuliati yang didampingi Kepala Bidang Pelestarian dan Preservasi Drs Agus Sardjono, Kepala Bidang Akuisisi dan Pengolahan Hariandono Triputro  SH, Kepala Bidang Pengembangan dan Hubungan antar Lembaga Dra Titik Rahajoe MSi , Kepala Bidang Pembinaan dan Pengawas Rr Anny Indrati SH, dan Kepala Bidang Layanan dan PemasyarakatanDrs Agus Riyanto.

Karena itu, dia berharap kerja sama Unnes dengan Badan Arsip dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah ditingkatkan lagi sesuai dengan kebutuhan kedua belah pihak.

    Alhamdulillah……UNNES KONSERVASI sudah memiliki Perpustakaan online, dan bagus pelayanannya. Saya sangat terkesan ada tiga eks. buku yang akan saya pinjam untuk rujukan membuat tesis walaupun tidak langsung mendapatkannya, namun bisa terlacak, satu buku di perpus Fak. Hukum., satu buku di perpus Fak. Ekonomi dan yang satunya di Fak. PGSD. Saya menyadari saat meminjam di dua fakultas yaitu fak. hkm. dan ekonomi tidak bisa langsung dipinjami (sy. hanya bisa foto kopi) dengan alasan karena saya dikatakan tidak mhs. fak,. tsb. dan mungkin punya otonomi sendiri. Dengan media ini saya usul, bg. mahasiswa yang dibawah bendera Unnes, untuk masa yad. agar dipermudah cara peminjamannya, walau buku yang akan dipinjam berada di fakultas-fakultas seperti yang saya sebutkan di atas.
