UNNES Kampus Terhijau Nomor Empat Indonesia

Kabar bahagia tersiar dari Jakarta pada hari ini (11/12). UNNES saat ini menempati peringkat 4 nasional sebagai kampus terhijau di Indonesia versi UI Greenmetric tahun 2017. Tahun lalu, UNNES sempat bertengger di posisi 6 dan posisi tersebut membuat UNNES harus belajar banyak untuk segera berbenah. Tidak menunggu lama, tahun ini UNNES membuat banyak perbaikan untuk kembali masuk ke lima besar. Hasilnya tidak mengkhianati proses. Pada pengumuman resmi UI Greenmetric di Makara Art Centrum UI, UNNES mendapatkan hasil yang memuaskan. UNNES menempati nomor 4 di Indonesia dan 84 di dunia.

Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman, M.Hum, Rektor UNNES, menyampaikan apresiasi sebesar-besarnya kepada seluruh warga UNNES khususnya UPT Konservasi yang telah bekerja keras untuk memastikan setiap aspek yang dinilai mendapatkan penilaian yang tertinggi. Program H-BAT (Hijau Bersih Sehat) juga dianggap telah memberikan kontribusi yang luar biasa terhadap peringkat UNNES.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Amin Retnoningsih MSi. sebagai Kepala UPT Konservasi merasa sangat lega dengan hasil ini. Tim yang dipimpinnya telah menyiapkan borang selama beberapa bulan dan beliau sangat bahagia hasilnya tidak mengecewakan. Prof. Amin berharap tahun depan peningkatan peringkat UNNES akan semakin signifikan.

Sepuluh besar Greenmetric UI tahun 2017 adalah sebagai berikut: (1) UI, (2) IPB, (3) ITS, (4) UNNES, (5) UNS, (6) UNDIP, (7) UB, (8) UII, (9) Universitas TELKOM, dan (10) UNPAD.
