UNNES Jadikan Ramadan Momentum Transformasi Akademik dan Penguatan Karakter

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menggelar kegiatan Ibadah Ramadan Akademik sebagai bagian dari upaya memperkuat nilai spiritual, moral, dan karakter sivitas akademika selama bulan suci Ramadan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh dosen, tenaga kependidikan, serta mahasiswa UNNES dengan penuh khidmat.

Rektor UNNES Prof. Dr. S. Martono, M.Si., melalui Wakil Rektor IV Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, M.T., IPM., menegaskan bahwa Ramadan merupakan momentum penting untuk memperkuat integritas, kedisiplinan, serta kepedulian sosial di lingkungan kampus.

“Ramadan bukan sekadar menahan lapar dan dahaga, tetapi juga menjadi sarana pembentukan karakter. Nilai-nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, empati, dan pengendalian diri yang dilatih selama puasa harus tercermin dalam kehidupan akademik kita. Mahasiswa UNNES diharapkan tidak hanya unggul secara intelektual, tetapi juga memiliki kedalaman spiritual dan akhlak mulia,” tegasnya.

Ia juga menambahkan bahwa kegiatan Ibadah Ramadan Akademik menjadi ruang refleksi bagi seluruh sivitas akademika untuk menyeimbangkan capaian akademik dengan kualitas iman dan takwa.

“Ramadan adalah waktu yang tepat untuk memperkuat komitmen kita sebagai insan akademis yang beretika dan berkontribusi positif bagi masyarakat,” lanjutnya.

Sementara itu, Narasumber Prof. Dr. Ahmad Rofik, M.A., menyampaikan bahwa puasa memiliki dimensi pendidikan yang sangat kuat.

“Puasa adalah proses pendidikan ruhani yang melatih kesabaran, keikhlasan, dan konsistensi dalam kebaikan. Bagi mahasiswa, Ramadan adalah momentum untuk meningkatkan kualitas diri bukan hanya dalam ibadah, tetapi juga dalam belajar, berorganisasi, dan berinteraksi sosial,” ujarnya.

Ia juga mengingatkan bahwa Ramadan seharusnya menjadi titik awal perubahan yang berkelanjutan.

“Jangan sampai semangat Ramadan berhenti setelah bulan ini berlalu. Nilai-nilai yang kita latih selama puasa seperti disiplin waktu, menjaga lisan, dan kepedulian terhadap sesama harus terus kita jaga dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk dalam aktivitas akademik,” tambahnya.

Kegiatan Ibadah Ramadan Akademik ini diharapkan dapat mempererat kebersamaan serta memperkuat identitas UNNES sebagai kampus konservasi yang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai religius, etika, dan keberlanjutan dalam setiap aspek kehidupan kampus.
