UNNES Gelar FGD, Wujudkan Penelitian, Publikasi dan Inovasi Berdampak

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melalui Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) menyelenggarakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) bertajuk “Diktisaintek Berdampak: Ekosistem Penelitian, Publikasi, dan Inovasi” pada Rabu, (26/6/2025). Bertempat di Ruang Borobudur, Lantai 3 Gedung LPPM UNNES.

Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh Rektor UNNES Prof. Dr. S. Martono, M.Si, wakil rektor, dekan, serta para profesor, dan dosen. Dalam sambutannya, Rektor menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu respon terhadap arahan Mendiktisaintek yang mendorong perguruan tinggi untuk mengembangkan sistem penelitian dan pengabdian yang memberikan dampak nyata kepada masyarakat.

“Penelitian dan pengabdian harus berdampak nyata bagi masyarakat. Sudah saatnya kita mengoptimalkan hasil riset bukan hanya sebagai output atau prototipe, melainkan menghasilkan dampak sosial yang terukur dan mendukung tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs),” ungkap Prof. Martono.

Rektor juga menekankan pentingnya implementasi hasil riset, kolaborasi peneliti dengan H-index tinggi, serta mendorong dosen untuk berorientasi menjadi peneliti unggul.

“Ini peluang besar. Kita harus bangun jaringan dan gunakan sumber daya yang ada untuk memperkuat kontribusi UNNES terhadap pencapaian SDGs,” imbuhnya.

FGD ini menghadirkan Prof. I Ketut Adnyana, M.Si., Ph.D., Direktur Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Kemdiktisaintek sebagai narasumber utama. Dalam paparannya, menekankan pentingnya menciptakan ekosistem riset unggul yang berorientasi pada hilirisasi produk dan kolaborasi multi-sektor.

Lebih lanjut Prof I Ketut menyebutkan bahwa keberhasilan riset tidak hanya diukur dari publikasi, tetapi juga pada seberapa jauh inovasi itu bisa dikomersialisasikan dan memberikan nilai tambah secara sosial dan ekonomi. Ia menekankan pentingnya sinergi antara sumber daya insani, fasilitas, pendanaan, serta tata kelola riset yang baik.

Selanjutnya Prof I Ketut juga memperkenalkan konsep Innovation-Driven Ecosystem yang melibatkan seluruh elemen perguruan tinggi dari hulu hingga hilir, serta menekankan pentingnya menciptakan atmosfer akademik yang mendukung kolaborasi riset secara intensif dan berkelanjutan.

Sementara itu, Kepala Pusat Pengembangan Jurnal dan Publikasi UNNES, Dr. Evi Widowati, S.K.M., M.Kes., memaparkan pencapaian UNNES dalam bidang publikasi ilmiah, termasuk keberhasilan memiliki 16 jurnal terindeks Scopus dan lebih dari 150 jurnal terakreditasi SINTA.

Dalam paparannya, Dr. Evi memperkenalkan SIKENAL (Sistem Kinerja Jurnal), platform yang membantu pengelolaan jurnal mulai dari pembayaran APC, audit forensik jurnal, hingga layanan klinik manuskrip dan bookchapter.

Dengan penyelenggaraan FGD ini, UNNES menunjukkan komitmennya untuk menjadi universitas bereputasi global yang mampu berkontribusi pada transformasi sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan melalui riset, publikasi, dan inovasi yang terukur serta berkelanjutan.
