UNNES Gelar Diskusi Ilmiah Terfokus Kebijakan Kelembagaan Perguruan Tinggi, Hadirkan Direktur Kelembagaan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi

Upaya meningkatkan kualitas mutu perguruan tinggi diperlukan penguatan kelembagaan, mulai dari organisasi, tata kerja, pelayanan prima, sampai akreditasi. Hal itulah yang mendorong Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menyelenggarakan Diskusi Ilmiah Terfokus Kebijakan Kelembagaan Perguruan Tinggi yang menghadirkan Dr Lukman ST MHum Direktur Kelembagaan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi.

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara hybrid bertempat di Di Gedung Prof Dr Achmad Slamet MSi Kampus Pascasarjana dengan Moderator Prof Dr Edy Cahyono MSi, Kamis (12/5).

Dalam sambutannya Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum mengatakan UNNES berada di garis lurus dengan kebijakan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) Nadiem Anwar Makarim dalam kemajuan UNNES ke depan.

Pertama, melaksanakan proses transformasi pendidikan tinggi melalui kebijakan Merdeka Belajar dan Kampus Merdeka.

Kedua, UNNES sedang berupaya keras untuk membangun ekosistem sinergi perguruan tinggi yang relevan dengan semangat Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka.

Ketiga menciptakan kampus cerdas berbasis teknologi digital atau digital smart campus.

Keempat, UNNES juga memiliki agenda penting dan bersejarah yaitu menjadi Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Badan Hukum atau PTN-BH, dan UNNES sedang berikhtiar menciptakan momentum bersejarah lain dengan mempersiapkan diri membuka program studi dan Fakultas Kedokteran.

“Mudah-mudahan dengan diskusi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan penguatan kelembagaan, sehingga menjadi modal utama UNNES menjadikan kampus yang unggul menuju world class university,” tegasnya.

Sementara itu, Dr Lukman ST MHum Direktur Kelembagaan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi mendorong UNNES menjadi universitas berkelas dunia.

Selain mendorong UNNES untuk menjadi berkelas dunia. Dr Lukman juga mengingatkan agar UNNES bersiap hijrah dari BLU menuju Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Badan Hukum (PTNBH).

“Misi UNNES untuk menjadi universitas berkelas dunia dan terakreditasi unggul menjadi harapan pertemuan hari ini. Untuk itu saya mendorong UNNES agar menjadi universitas berkelas dunia dan semoga PP UNNES PTNBH segera ditandatangani,” jelasnya.

Direktur Pascasarjana UNNES Prof Dr Agus Nuryatin MHum menyampaikan pihaknya sengaja mengundang Direktur Kelembagaan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi untuk memperoleh gambaran secara komprehensif mengenai kebijakan pemerintah dalam menata kelembagaan perguruan tinggi dalam kaitannya dengan tantangan yang dihadapi perguruan tinggi di era revolusi industri 4.0 dan society 5.0

“Revolusi teknologi membutuhkan kelenturan dalam menata kelembagaan perguruan tinggi agar dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat inilah tujuan dan sasaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan diskusi ilmiah terfokus ini,” tegas Prof Agus.

Turut hadir Wakil Rektor, Dekan, Direktur Pascasarjana, Ketua Lembaga, Ketua Badan, Ketua/Sekretaris SPI, Kepala Biro, Wakil Direktur di Pascasarjana, Ketua/Sekretaris Task Force Kedokteran, Koord Program Studi di Pascasarjana UNNES.
