UNNES Dorong Pelestarian Budaya Lewat Kuliah Umum Rias Pengantin Solo Basahan

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melalui Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias, Fakultas Teknik, menyelenggarakan kuliah umum bertema “Demo Rias Pengantin Solo Basahan” sebagai upaya mendukung pelestarian budaya lokal melalui pendidikan.

Kegiatan yang berlangsung pada Rabu, (5/11) di Ruang Rapat Prof. Soedhartono lantai tiga Gedung Dekanat Fakultas Teknik ini dibuka oleh Wakil Dekan III Fakultas Teknik, Rusiyanto, S.Pd., M.T., dan menghadirkan narasumber profesional di bidang tata rias pengantin Jawa, Priyo Diky Rinandi, S.S., yang dikenal luas lewat karyanya dengan nama @dikyrinandimakeup.

Kegiatan ini selaras dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) poin ke-4 tentang Pendidikan Berkualitas, yakni meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa di bidang tata rias.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Priyo Diky Rinandi berbagi pengalaman, teknik, serta filosofi mendalam di balik rias pengantin Solo Basahan. Mahasiswa juga berkesempatan menyaksikan secara langsung proses rias pengantin Solo Basahan, mulai dari persiapan wajah, tata rambut, hingga penggunaan busana dan aksesori khas Solo Basahan.

Dosen pengampu mata kuliah Rias Pengantin Jawa, Maria Krisnawati, S.Pd., M.Sn., menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini diharapkan memberikan pengalaman belajar kontekstual bagi mahasiswa agar memahami secara komprehensif teknik sekaligus makna dari rias pengantin Solo Basahan.

Sementara itu, Ketua Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias, Ade Novi Nurul Ihsani, S.Pd., M.Pd., menuturkan bahwa kegiatan ini menjadi wadah pembelajaran inspiratif yang mendorong mahasiswa tidak hanya menguasai keterampilan teknis dalam tata rias pengantin, tetapi juga menumbuhkan rasa bangga dan tanggung jawab dalam melestarikan budaya lokal.

“Kami ingin mahasiswa belajar langsung dari praktisi profesional agar mampu mengembangkan kreativitas dan inovasi, serta menjaga warisan budaya berharga dalam rias pengantin Jawa,” ujar Dr. Krisnawati.

Kegiatan ini juga sejalan dengan salah satu visi UNNES, yaitu universitas berwawasan konservasi . Melalui pilar konservasi budaya, UNNES berkomitmen untuk melestarikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal, memperkuat identitas bangsa, serta menanamkan rasa bangga terhadap budaya tradisional kepada mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan kuliah umum ini menjadi wujud nyata implementasi pendidikan konservasi budaya di lingkungan kampus.

Melalui kegiatan ini, terwujud kolaborasi nyata antara dunia akademik dan praktisi untuk melahirkan calon pendidik dan profesional di bidang tata rias yang unggul, kreatif, dan berkarakter, sekaligus menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai budaya Indonesia di tengah perkembangan industri kecantikan modern.
