Unnes dan Pemkab Semarang Hijaukan Bukit Gundul

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) bekerja sama dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Semarang menghijaukan bukit gundul di Desa Wonokerto, Kecamatan Bancak Kabupaten Semarang. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan dengan skema Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Posdaya bersama Yayasan Damandiri.

Peluncuran program KKN Posdaya di Kabupaten Semarang secara resmi dilakukan, Sabtu (26/12). Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum bersaa Pembantu Rektor, Dekan, Ketua LP2M, dan SatgaS KKN Unnes hadir pada acara tersebut. Adapun dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Semarang Bupati H dr Mundjirin juga hadir dalam acara tersebut.

Koordinator KKN Kabupaten Semarang Dra Sri Prastiti Kusuma Anggraeni mengatakan, ada sejumlah program KKN Posdaya di wilayah tersebut, antara lain penghijauan hutan gundul, pemanfaatan halaman dengan sayuran dan peresmian pasar tugu.

“Melalui pos daya ini Universitas Negeri Semarang ikut berkomitmen untuk ikut serta mesuksekan progam pemerintah Kabupaten Semarang menjadikan masyarakat mandiri aman dan sejahtera,” katanya.
Kebermanfaatan program itu diakui Bupati H dr Mundjirin. “Di daerah sini ada beberapa masalah seperti bukit gundul, pekarangan kosong, ladang yang kurang rimbun dan juga tanah longsor. Oleh karena itu, saya mengucapkan terimaksih kepada unnes yang turut ikut memperhatikan lingkungan dan dengan progam KKn ini masyarakat juga bisa lebih mandiri.”

Setelah peluncuran, Rektor dan rombongan menyempatkan untuk mengunjungi stand produk-produk dari kecamata Bancak seperti empek-empek dari tulang dan kepala lele, cassava pudding, kripik singkong, dan lain-lain.
