UNNES Bekali Mahasiswa Penerima Beasiswa KIP-K dengan Pembinaan dan Penguatan Softskill

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menyelenggarakan kegiatan Pembinaan dan penguatan softskill bagi penerima beasiswa Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIPK-K) UNNES pada Selasa, (4/6) di Auditorium Prof. Wuryanto UNNES. Acara ini dihadiri oleh lebih dari 1000 mahasiswa penerima beasiswa KIP-K dari berbagai jenjang semester dan fakultas.

Dalam sambutannya, Wakil Rektor I Bidang Akademik & Kemahasiswaan, Prof. Dr. Zaenuri, M.Si., Akt. menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada para mahasiswa yang menjadi penerima beasiswa KIP-K. Prof. Zaenuri juga menegaskan pentingnya dalam memanfaatkan dana beasiswa dengan sebaik-baiknya dan menjaga nama baik almamater.

“Jangan menyakiti almamater kita, banggalah dengan almamater kita, dan jagalah almamater kita,” imbuh Guru Besar Fakultas Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam.

Acara kemudian dilanjutkan dengan materi oleh Diyamon Prasandha, S.Pd., M.Pd.. Dosen Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra Indonesia, dan Daerah ini memberikan motivasi pada para mahasiswa untuk terus meningkatkan softskill yang dimiliki. Turut hadir dalam acara ini adalah para Wakil Dekan Bidang I pada masing-masing Fakultas serta Bapak/Ibu pendamping penerima beasiswa.

Pada tahun 2023, UNNES berhasil mendapat penghargaan Pengelola KIP-K Terbaik dalam acara Anugerah Merdeka Belajar 2023. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa komitmen UNNES telah diakui dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan inklusif dan merata dalam memberikan akses pendidikan tinggi bagi semua lapisan masyarakat, terutama bagi keluarga dengan kesulitan finansial.

Melalui program KIP-K, Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi telah memberikan bantuan pendidikan bagi para mahasiswa yang memiliki keterbatasan ekonomi. Pada tahun ini kuota yang diberikan kepada UNNES bertambah menjadi 1828 kuota, naik dibandingkan tahun lalu yang hanya 940 kuota.

Dengan pelatihan softskill yang diberikan, penerima beasiswa diharapkan tidak hanya unggul dalam bidang akademik saja, tetapi dapat berprestasi dan memiliki keterampilan agar siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan.
