Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) sangat peduli kepada mahasiswa yang masih tinggal di kost karena kewaspadaan dan pencegahan Covid-19.

Rektor Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum mengatakan UNNES melakukan berbagai upaya kewaspadaan dan pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19.

“Saat ini UNNES menjalankan Work from Home (WfH) kerja dan belajar dari rumah. Namun karena banyak mahasiswa yang berasal dari luar kota dan luar Jawa serta ada yang masih tinggal dari kos maka kita juga perlu menaruh perhatian pada mereka. Melalaui Bidang Kemahasiswaan UNNES melakukan monitoring kesehatan dan keselamatan. Melalui paket bantuan sembako ini diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa yang masih tinggal di kos,” kata Prof Fathur Rokhman.

Ketua Rumah Amal Lazis UNNES Dr Edy Purwanto MSi mengatakan UNNES membagikan 2.073 paket bantuan sembako untuk mahasiswa yang masih di kost ini sebagai upaya membantu mahasiswa yang tidak dapat pulang ke rumah, Rabu (8/04) di kampus Sekaran Gunungpati.

Paket sembako didistribusikan dari Rumah Amal Lazis UNNES ke Fakultas pada Rabu 8 April 2020 pagi. Tiap Fakultas akan mengatur pendistribusian kepada mahasiswa dengan protokol kesehatan dan menghindari terjadinya kerumunan.

Untuk itu dilakukan penjadwalan pengambilan paket bantuan sembako oleh mahasiswa. Nilai per paket sembako sekitar Rp 120.000 yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk 29 mie instan, 2 botol kecap, dan 3 kg beras.

Jumlah mahasiswa yang memperoleh bantuan sembako sebanyak 2.073 dengan rincian Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) 272, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) 537, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (FIS) 179, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) 288.

Kemudian, Fakultas Teknik (FT) 211, Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK) 174, Fakultas Ekonomi (FE) 269, dan Fakultas Hukum 143.
