Unnes Akan Gelar Festival Drama Berbahasa Jawa

Festival Drama Berbahasa Jawa Antar-SMA/sederajat Se-Jawa Tengah akan diselenggarakan di Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang (FBS Unnes), 18-19 Januari 2014. Pendaftaran dibuka hingga 12 Januari 2013.

Ketua Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa FBS Unnes Yusro Edy Nugroho mengungkapkan, kegiatan rutin sebagai agenda jurusan ini merupakan upaya menanamkan kecintaan berbahasa Jawa di kalangan remaja.

“Sudah saatnya yang muda yang berkarya. Melalui acara ini, kami berharap bahasa Jawa tidak lagi identik dengan hal yang kuno dan yang tua. Drama berbahasa Jawa adalah wujud eksistensi kawula muda yang tetap berbahasa Jawa,” ujarnya, Kamis (9/1), kepada Unnes.ac.id.

Setiap tahun, Yusro mengatakan, antusiasme peserta tak pernah surut untuk mengikuti kegiatan ini. “Bisa dikatakan festival ini adalah ajang pembuktian proses drama dan teater di sekolah masing-masing,” tandasnya.

Pada akhir penampilan peserta, bakal dipilih beberapa kategori pemenang, di antaranya juara I-III, pemain, sutradara, iringan, hingga artistik terbaik.

Persyaratan

Fahmi Abdillah, salah satu panitia kegiatan mengungkapkan persyaratan mengikuti festival, yakni pemain drama merupakan pelajar SMA/sederajat, membawakan drama dengan tema bebas, tiap kelompok drama membayar kontribusi sebesar Rp250.000.

Selain itu, jumlah anggota dalam satu kelompok, meliputi pemain, pengiring, dan kru dibatasi sebanyak 15 orang. “Biaya pendaftaran dapat diserahkan secara langsung ke PKM Hima Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa Gedung PKM FBS Unnes kampus Sekaran,” ujarnya.

Pendaftaran dapat pula melalui rekening BNI dengan nomor rekening 0262641300 atas nama Rini Oktaviani. Keterangan selengkapnya mengenai pendaftaran dapat diperoleh dengan menghubungi Rini (085640565436).

    Sekarang ini sering kali terjadi kesalahan dalam penempatan kata (bahasa Jawa) di masyarakat kita. Contoh : Mr X bermaksud berkata sopan dengan menggunakan bahasa jawa kromo kepada orang yang lebih tua… “Kulo bade siram riyin nggih” padahal kata “siram” ini adalah ungkapan yang ditujukan bagi orang yang lebih tua atau untuk menghormati orang lain. Semoga dengan adanya Festival ini menjadi pembelajaran bagi masyarakat kita semua
