Tingkatkan Pendidikan Kimia dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, UNNES, UNMUL, dan Sogang University Jalin Kerja Sama

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) bersama Universitas Mulawarman (UNMUL) dan Sogang University Korea Selatan menjalin kerja sama strategis melalui Leading University Project for International Cooperation (LUPIC). Program ini diselenggarakan di Samarinda pada 9–10 September 2025, memadukan penandatanganan nota kesepahaman dengan berbagai kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang berdampak langsung.

Kolaborasi ini menegaskan komitmen UNNES dalam menerjemahkan riset berbasis pendidikan kimia ke dalam praktik pembelajaran nyata. Para dosen UNNES menghadirkan inovasi mulai dari eksperimen skala mikro, praktik kimia hijau, hingga asesmen berbasis kompetensi dan Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Inovasi tersebut tidak hanya dituangkan dalam publikasi ilmiah, tetapi juga diadaptasi menjadi modul, rancangan pembelajaran, serta strategi kelas yang dapat langsung digunakan oleh guru.

Selain itu, program ini memperkenalkan teknologi berbasis FabLab seperti pena 3D dan pencetak 3D untuk membantu guru memvisualisasikan konsep kimia abstrak. Teknologi terjangkau ini membuka akses pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif, sekaligus menjembatani teori dan praktik. Melalui tantangan STEM yang melibatkan guru dan siswa SMA, kegiatan ini juga menumbuhkan kolaborasi, kreativitas, serta penalaran ilmiah di sekolah-sekolah mitra.

Delegasi UNNES terdiri atas Prof. Dr. Sri Haryani, Prof. Dr. Sri Wardani, Dr. Agung Tri Prasetya, Dr. Cepi Kurniawan, Siti Herlina Dewi, M.Pd., Dr. Dimas Gilang Ramadhani, M.Pd., serta Ibrahim Wicaksono (mahasiswa). Kontribusi mereka meliputi perancangan modul inovatif, metode asesmen baru, hingga media ajar 3D yang siap dipakai di ruang kelas.

Hasil dari kolaborasi ini antara lain: terbentuknya kemitraan resmi tiga pihak, peningkatan kapasitas guru dalam desain pembelajaran kontekstual dan teknologi visualisasi, tersedianya prototipe media ajar, serta peta jalan tindak lanjut berupa uji coba di sekolah mitra dan diseminasi melalui MGMP Kimia.

“Kolaborasi ini menjembatani keahlian global dengan kebutuhan lokal. Riset UNNES benar-benar memberi dampak ketika dialami langsung oleh guru dan siswa di ruang kelas,” ujar Dr. Cepi Kurniawan.

Ke depan, UNNES berkomitmen memperluas pengembangan profesional guru melalui lesson study dan pendampingan hibrida, memperkuat ekosistem FabLab, serta menghubungkan riset dengan kebijakan publik melalui publikasi bersama dan rekomendasi kebijakan. Dengan langkah ini, UNNES menegaskan perannya sebagai pusat inovasi pendidikan kimia yang mendukung pencapaian SDG 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas), SDG 9 (Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur), serta SDG 12 (Konsumsi dan Produksi yang Bertanggung Jawab).
