Tingkatkan Pemahaman Regulasi dan Kualitas Akademik Mahasiswa Internasional, UNNES Gelar Monev dan Sosialisasi Izin Tinggal

Dalam upaya meningkatkan pemahaman terkait regulasi keimigrasian serta memastikan kualitas akademik mahasiswa internasional, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) sukses menggelar kegiatan “Sosialisasi Kebijakan Izin Tinggal serta Monitoring dan Evaluasi Perkuliahan Mahasiswa Internasional Semester Genap Tahun Akademik 2024/2025” pada Jumat,(21/2) yang berlangsung di Ruang 405, Gedung Rektorat UNNES.

Dalam laporannya, Kepala Kantor Urusan Internasional, Lulu April Farida, S.Pd., M.Pd. kembali menekankan pentingnya pemahaman mengenai izin tinggal bagi mahasiswa internasional guna mendukung kelancaran studi mereka di Indonesia.

Wakil Rektor Bidang Kerja Sama, Bisnis, dan Hubungan Internasional UNNES, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, M.T., IPM., dalam sambutannya turut berharap agar para mahasiswa dapat memahami tentang kebijakan dan dan peraturan ketika tinggal dan belajar di Indonesia.

“Terkait imigrasi bagi Mahasiswa Internasional, mohon dapat diperhatikan paparan mengenai regulasi yang ada. Untuk monitoring dan evaluasi, tim KUI akan bekerja sama dengan tim akademik fakultas dan prodi. UNNES akan berusaha menjaga dan terus memberikan pelayanan terbaik bagi mahasiswa Internasional” ungkap Guru Besar Fakultas Teknik.

Acara utama merupakan sosialisasi terkait layanan visa dan izin tinggal yang dipaparkan oleh Tim Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I TPI Semarang yang terdiri dari Kasubsi Izin Tinggal Keimigrasian, Christine Ingke Amelia S serta Kepala Subseksi Status Keimigrasian, Dipo Bramaulia Mukhamzohal, yang memberikan informasi detail mengenai prosedur dan peraturan yang harus dipatuhi oleh mahasiswa internasional selama masa studi.

Selain itu, dilakukan pula monitoring dan evaluasi perkuliahan untuk semester genap tahun akademik 2024/2025, yang dipimpin oleh Tim Kantor Urusan Internasional dan Manajer Asrama. Sesi ini bertujuan untuk memastikan kualitas pembelajaran dan kesejahteraan mahasiswa internasional selama menempuh pendidikan di UNNES.

Sosialisasi ini dihadiri oleh Kepala Kantor Urusan Internasional, Direktorat Akademik, Kemahasiswaan, dan Konservasi, Koordinator Program Studi, manajer asrama, serta mahasiswa internasional UNNES.

Kegiatan ini merupakan wujud komitmen UNNES dalam mendukung dan memfasilitasi mahasiswa internasional, serta memastikan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi yang berlaku. Dengan adanya sosialisasi dan evaluasi rutin seperti ini, diharapkan mahasiswa internasional dapat menjalani proses akademik dengan lancar dan optimal.
