Tingkatkan Kualitas SDM, Pemkab Kudus Gandeng Unnes

Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Kudus menjalin kerja sama dengan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) untuk mengembangkan kompetensi dan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia SDM). Penandatanganan nota kesepahaman oleh Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum dengan Bupati Kudus H Musthofa SE MM, Rabu (7/5) di Rektorat Kampus Sekaran.

Selain untuk pengembangan kompetensi dan peningkatan kualitas SDM, kerja sama ini juga untuk membina hubungan kelembagaan dalam melaksanakan fungsi pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, kesehatan, pertanian, pemberdayaan masyarakat, serta ekonomi kerakyatan.

Rektor Unnes mengatakan, kesepakatan ini akan ditindaklanjuti secara cepat. Setelah penandatanganan nota kesepahaman, kemudian diimplementasikan dalam bentuk workshop kerja bersama untuk merancang program 2014 yang bisa diselenggarakan.

Unnes mempunyai banyak tenaga ahli melalui lembaga penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, program-program penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bisa di rujuk ke Pemkab Kudus.

Sementara itu, Bupati Kudus H Musthofa SE MM memaparkan program-program untuk masyarakat yang telah dilakukan Pemkab Kudus diantaranya di bidang pendidikan berhasil meraih Satya Lencana Pembangunan Bidang Pendidikan dari Presiden RI.

Bidang kesehatan, kata H Musthofa, Pemkab Kudus sudah membentuk 132 desa siaga. Dengan disepakati kerjasama ini ke depan, akan meningkatan kualitas kader desa siaga. Sehingga perlu adanya pendampingan dan pelatihan anggota forum kesehatan.

H Musthofa menambahkan, bidang lingkungan hidup, Pemkab Kudus telah menerima penghargaan adipura. Namun ruang terbuka hijau dinilai masih kurang. Hal-hal seperti inilah Unnes sebagai universitas konservasi bisa memberi masukan untuk yang lebih baik lagi.
