Tingkatkan Kesadaran Kelestarian Alam, Mahapala UNNES Bersama Disporapar Jateng Selenggarakan Pelatihan Dasar Kepencintaalaman

Dalam membekali mahasiswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam konservasi alam dan kegiatan di alam bebas, MAHAPALA Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) berkolaborasi dengan Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jawa Tengah (Disporapar Jateng) menyelenggarakan kegiatan pelatihan dasar kepencintaalaman . Acara yang berlangsung selama tiga hari, dari 19 hingga 21 Juni 2024 ini diselenggarakan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan menjaga kelestarian alam serta menghadapi tantangan di alam bebas.

Pelatihan yang bertempat di D’Emmerick Salib Putih Hotel ini diikuti oleh sekitar 105 peserta, terdiri dari mahasiswa, anggota komunitas pecinta alam, dan masyarakat umum.

Acara dibuka secara resmi oleh Kepala Disporapar Jateng, yang diwakili oleh Sekretaris Disporapar Provinsi Jawa Tengah, Syurya Deta Syafrie S.T, M.T,. Dalam sambutannya, Sekretaris Disporapar menekankan pentingnya peran generasi muda dalam konservasi alam.

“Kegiatan ini bukan hanya untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan, tetapi juga untuk membangun karakter dan jiwa kepemimpinan yang peduli terhadap lingkungan. Kami berharap para peserta dapat menjadi duta-duta pelestarian alam di Jawa Tengah,” imbuh Syurya Deta Syafrie.

Salah satu peserta, Afif, mengungkapkan kesan positifnya terhadap kegiatan ini. “Pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat. Saya mendapatkan banyak ilmu baru dan juga teman-teman yang memiliki minat yang sama dalam pelestarian alam. Ini menjadi pengalaman yang sangat berharga bagi saya,” ungkapnya.

Pelatihan dasar yang diberikan meliputi berbagai materi, termasuk pelatihan dari Basarnas Semarang, BPBD Kota Salatiga, Disporapar Kota Salatiga, serta instruktur bersertifikat MAHAPALA UNNES mengenai navigasi darat dan manajemen pendakian. Selain itu, peserta juga melakukan praktik langsung seperti mendirikan tenda dan pembuatan dragbar.

Dengan berakhirnya pelatihan ini, Disporapar Jateng berkomitmen untuk terus mendukung kegiatan MAHAPALA UNNES di masa mendatang guna menciptakan generasi muda yang cinta alam dan berwawasan lingkungan. Selain itu, para peserta juga diharapkan dapat mengaplikasikan ilmu dan keterampilan yang didapat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan menjadi agen perubahan positif di lingkungan masing-masing.
