Tim Smarttrons V. Zeta FT-UNNES Boyong 2 Piala Pada Ajang Internasional Chem-E Car, Indonesia Chemical Engineering Car Competition 2021.

Tim Chem-E Car Universitas Negeri Semarang, Smarttrons V. Zeta mendapatkan Juara 3 (3rd Winner) dengan nilai akhir 91,0. Selain penghargaan tersebut, Tim Smarttrons V. Zeta UNNES juga mendapatkan penghargaan Best Video Profile dan Peringkat ke-2 untuk poster terbaik di ajang lomba Internasional Chem-E Car yang prestisius, ICECC, Indonesia pada 08-10 April 2021. Tim Smarttron berhasil bersaing dan mampu mengalahkan berbagai macam tim dari Indonesia dan luar negeri. Wakil Dekan bidang 3 FT-UNNES Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T menyambut baik prestasi mahasiswa Tim Smarttron ini.

Lomba ICECC ini diselenggarakan oleh HIMATEK ITS. Tim Chem-E Car UNNES ini diinisiasi sekaligus dibimbing oleh dosen Jurusan Teknik Kimia, FT-UNNES, Dhoni Hartanto, S.T., M.T., M.Sc., beranggotakan lima mahasiswa yaitu M. Salman Alfarisi (Teknik Kimia 2017) sebagai ketua tim, Arif Budiargo (Pend. Teknik Mesin 2017) dan Abdul Rachman Al Quddus (Teknik Mesin 2019) sebagai mechanical engineer, Asesanti Suci Nur Pratami (Teknik Kimia 2017) sebagai Chemical engineer, dan Desy Hikmatul Siami (Teknik Kimia 2018) sebagai JSA Administration and Finance dengan manajer yaitu Bagus Adi Prasetyo (Pend. Teknik Mesin 2017).

Terdapat 22 tim dari dalam dan luar negeri yaitu dari Colombia dan Indonesia yang berkompetisi pada tahap final ini.

Hari pertama dan kedua diawali dengan presentasi dan inspeksi untuk menjelaskan konsep mobil, power source & stopping mechanism, konstruksi mobil, proses pembuatan, harga komponen mobil, dan pengalaman mengesankan ketika pembuatan mobil. Juri presentasi ICECC ini yaitu Bapak Hamzah Fansuri dari Univ Trunojoyo, Bapak Agus Purwanto UNS, Dr. Azizan Ramli dari UMP Malaysia. Tim Smarttrons dapat mempresentasikan concept car dengan baik dan menjawab pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh juri serta expert team.

Hari ketiga adalah Race competition pada kegiatan race competition semua tim harus mencapai finish line pada 14,5 meter dengan beban yang di bawa mobil seberat 600g. Pada race competition eror jarak yang di hasilkan oleh tim Smarttrons v. Zeta yaitu 0.15 m untuk mencapai 14.5 m dengan score sebesar 98,97. Setiap tim diberi kesempatan untuk run mobil sebanyak 2 kali, dan nilai akhir diambil berdasarkan score tertinggi.

Untuk tim yang baru berdiri sekitar 3,5 tahun di Jurusan Teknik Kimia UNNES yang juga merupakan jurusan yang masih muda yaitu kurang lebih 9 tahun untuk program Strata-1 (S1), pencapaian ini merupakan salah satu kado indah dan menjadi penyemangat sekaligus menjadi bukti bahwa siapapun, dalam kondisi apapun, dan dimanapun tetap mempunyai kesempatan untuk belajar, bersaing, berkolaborasi, dan berprestasi di ajang internasional.

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang, Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum beserta jajarannya, Dekan FT-UNNES, Dr. Nur Qudus., M.T., IPM. beserta jajaran pengelola Fakultas Teknik serta pengelola dan dosen Jurusan Teknik Kimia, mengungkapkan rasa syukur dan bangga atas prestasi yang telah diraih Tim Smarttrons FT-UNNES. Prestasi tersebut diharapkan dapat mengharumkan nama UNNES dan Indonesia di kancah internasional serta dapat menginspirasi seluruh sivitas akademika UNNES dan mahasiswa di Indonesia untuk terus berprestasi dan bermanfaat.
