Tim Pengabdian FMIPA UNNES Beri Pelatihan Media Pembelajaran IPA Paper Merge Cube Augmented Reality (AR)

Tim Pengabdiaan Fakultas Matamatika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menyelenggarakan pelatihan Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (PKB) berjudul “Pelatihan STEM Educational Berbasis Merge Cube Augmented Reality (AR) pada kelompok MGMP IPA Kabupaten Batang” yang dilaksanakan secara daring, Sabtu (7/8).

Tim ini terdiri dari empat orang dosen yaitu Muhamad Taufiq MPd, Arif Widiyatmoko PhD in Edu, Rifa’ Atunnisa PhD masing-masing dari Jurusan IPA Terpadu dan Prof Dr Murbangun Nuswowati MSi dari Jurusan Kimia.

Pengabdian ini juga melibatkan tiga orang mahasiswa yaitu Elok Ana Nuraini, Leni Sintawati, dan Luthfi Hanum Saputri dari jurusan IPA Terpadu.

Narasumber dalam pelatihan ini diantaranya, Prof Dr Murbangun Nuswowati MSi dengan materi Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (PKB) bagi guru IPA. Prof Murbangun, menyampaikan dalam pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan terdiri dari komponen-komponen yang saling terkait, diantaranya pengembangan diri dan inovasi ilmiah. Pelatihan ini merupakan implementasi dari bagaimana cara membuat karya inovatif.

Pada sesi ini dibahas cara pemanfaatan Merge Cube Augmented Reality (AR) dalam pembelajaran IPA. Materi kedua disampaikan oleh Muhammad Taufiq, MPd. Sesi ini dijelaskan mengenai media pembelajaran berbasis AR dan para peserta dipandu untuk mengunduh aplikasi Augmented Reality, dan disajikan pula tutorial cara merakit paper merge cube sampai cara menggunakannya.

Sesi terakhir disampaikan oleh Arif Widyatmoko, PhD yang membahas mengenai STEM Education, selain itu juga disajikan contoh-contoh implementasi pembelajaran berbasis STEM.

Ketua Tim Pengabdian Muhammad Taufiq MPd menjelaskan peserta pelatihan pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan khususnya hasil karya inovatif sebanyak 61 peserta. Pada kegiatan pelatihan ini juga dilaksanakan penandatangan nota kerjasama FMIPA Unnes dengan MGMP IPA Kabupaten Batang.

Kegiatan ini terdiri dari webinar dan dilanjutkan pendampingan dan penugasan. Peserta akan mendapat sertifikat yang setara dengan 32 JP, dengan syarat mengikuti webinar, pendampingan, praktik atau implementasi dan menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang disampaikan nanti.

Tujuan pelatihan ini untuk membantu guru IPA dalam meningkatkan hasil karya inovatif dan menerapkannya dalam media pembelajaran berupa media pembelajaran IPA berbasis Paper Merge Cube Augmented Reality (AR).

Sementara itu, Aris Suryani Putra SSi MSi selaku Ketua MGMP Kabupaten Batang yang juga hadir dalam pelatihan ini menyatakan menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan seperti ini untuk mengembangkan diri dalam meningkatkan keprofesionalisme guru.

“Saya berharap kerjasama seperti ini dapat berlansung dalam berbagai kegiatan yang pada akhirnya adalah untuk meningkatkan SDM guru khususnya kabupaten Batang dan peningkatan mutu pendidikan di kabupaten Batang,” jelasnya.
