Tim Pendaki Elbrush Tiba di Rusia

Selasa (9/8) pukul 14.20, Tim Spirit of Indonesian Youth Expedition (SIYE) Part II Mahapala Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) yang akan mendaki Gunung Elbrush tiba di bandara terbesar Russia, Domodedovo. Tim dijemput staf Dubes RI untuk Russia, Enjay Diana.

Khaerul Hamzah, ketua panitia  kegiatan, mengabarkan hal itu kepada unnes.ac.id, Kamis (11/8).

Khaerul mengatakan, di penginapan tim melakukan tukar informasi keindahan potensi pariwisata dan budaya Indonesia kepada beberapa tamu dari berbagai negara.

“Mas, kita berhasil mempromosikan pariwisata Indonesia kepada turis bule yang ada di hotel,” kata Miftakhul Ulum, salah satu anggota tim  via skype sebagaimana dikutip kembali oleh kepada Khaerul Hamzah

Keesokkan harinya, tim diajak berkeliling melihat-lihat kota Moskow oleh staf Kedubes, Enjay Diana. Setelah itu, mereka mengadakan pertemuan dengan Perhimpunan Mahasiswa Indonesia di Russia (Permira). Hadir ketua perhimpunan itu, Marten dan kawan-kawan.

Tim mendiskusikan kehidupan mahasiswa Indonesia yang menempuh studi di Russia, informasi schoolarship bagi pelajar Indonesia-Russia. Selain itu, digali data tentang konservasi lingkungan, baik di kampus maupun Russia.

“Penduduk Rusia cuma 145 juta, padahal  luasnya 10 kali lipat Indonesia. Jadi, ketersediaan lahan hijau sangat cukup dan mendapat perhatian pemerintah. Contohnya dalam penataan tata ruang kota, tidak ada rumah yang berdekatan dengan jalan raya. Harus berjarak minimal 100 meter dari jalan  dan jarak itu ditumbuhi tanaman-tanaman dan pohon-pohon peredam polusi. Ada juga danau baikal yang seluas Pulau Jawa. Airnya sangat jernih , tidak ada sampah,” tulis Miftakhul Ulum via email.

Pukul 19.30, tim dijamu Nugroho, Kepala Fungsi Politik KBRI Moskow. Tim menjelaskan tujuan mengadakan pendakian yang bertepatan dengan peringatan HUT ke-66 RI.

“Kami bangga menjadi pemuda Indonesia. Kami melakukan pendakian ini untuk menunjukkan rasa itu. Inilah salah satu kegiatan yang bisa kami lakukan sebagai aktivis pencinta alam. Selain mempromosikan potensi budaya dan pariwisata Indonesia , juga mencari informasi tentang pengelolaan SAR dan konservasi salah satu taman nasional yang paling banyak dikunjungi di dunia ,Pre Mt. Elbrus Park,” tutur Manikmaya, ketua tim mengulang kata-kata yang disampaikan kepada Wakil Dubes saat jamuan resmi.

Kini tim sedang persiapan untuk terbang dari Moskow menuju Mineralyne Vody, kota terakhir untuk start pendakian.

    akhirnya……duta FIS geografi dan FT, duta Mahapala atau duta Unnes telah berhasil mengemban amanahnya….. pulang ke kampus ini,,,,ke keluarga besar Mahapala Unnes dg slamat dan sehat. tlah brhasil mengibarkan bendera Unnes, Mahapala dn Sang Saka Merah Putih di puncak trtinggi benua eropa. selamat…. slanjutnya takhlukkn 5 gunung lg!
