Tiga Anggota MAHAPALA UNNES Ikuti Disaster Leadership Training (DLT) Batch VII

Tiga anggota MAHAPALA Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) mengikuti Disaster Leadership Training (DLT) Batch VII yang diadakan di Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak, Gunung Bunder, Bogor. Tiga anggota tersebut adalah M. Ika Safitri dari Jurusan Ekonomi Pembangunan, Fahri Huzain dari Jurusan Geografi, dan Afif Choirul Rohmah dari Jurusan Teknologi Pendidikan.

Mereka sebelumnya telah mengikuti serangkaian seleksi yang diselenggarakan pada tanggal 28 Februari 2021 di Area Pantball Taman Wiladatika, Cibubur. Seleksi tersebut berupa tes fisik, pengetahuan umum, dan tes psikologi. Setelah diumumkan lolos pada tanggal 3 Maret 2021 Ika, Afif, dan Fahri segera mempersiapkan diri, baik persiapan fisik, mental, dan peralatan.

Ika menyampaikan bahwa sembari menunggu pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan yaitu tanggal 1 s.d. 4 April 2021 mereka tetap menjaga kebugaran fisik dengan mengikuti latihan rutin di MAHAPALA. Hal itu bertujuan agar saat kegiatan fisik dan mental mereka benar-benar siap.

Tepat pada tanggal 29 Maret 2021 mereka mulai berangkat dari Semarang menuju Bogor dengan transportasi bus. Kemudian Selasa, 30 Maret 2021 mereka harus menjalani Rapid Test Antigen terlebih dahulu yang dilakukan di basecamp Sekolah Relawan.

DLT adalah program pelatihan relawan yang diselenggarakan oleh Sekolah Relawan yang merupakan salah satu komunitas sosial kemanusiaan yang didirikan pada tahun 2013 oleh tiga sosok penggiat kegiatan relawan, yaitu Ayu Gawtama, Dony Aryanto, dan Roel Mustafa. Program DLT bertujuan untuk mencetak relawan-relawan yang tangguh dan sigap memimpin dalam tugas sosial dan kebencanaan.

Materi pelatihan program ini meliputi Disaster Management & Wawasan Tim Siaga Bencana, Manajemen Aksi kebencanaan, Manajemen Relawan, Manajemen Posko Bencana, Manajemen logistik & pengungsi, Mapping & Assesment, BLS / Bidai, medis dasar, CPR, Simulasi Evakuasi, Tehnik Vertical Rescue, Komunikasi Emergency / Penggunaan HT dan Sandi, Sistem pelaporan dan Evaluasi aksi, Team Building, serta materi tentang rescue dan kerelawanan lainnya.

“Diharapkan mereka yang mengikuti DLT ini dapat memperoleh ilmu sebanyak-banyaknya tentang rescue dan kerelawanan sehingga dapat mengembangkan divisi SAR di MAHAPALA serta dapat menyalurkan ilmu tersebut ke anggota lainnya,” ungkap Malla selaku Seksi Operasional dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Anggota di MAHAPALA.
