Terima 7 Mahasiswa Short Course Asal NTUNHS Taiwan, UNNES Mantapkan Reputasi Dunia

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) semakin mengukuhkan reputasinya sebagai pusat pendidikan yang berkualitas di dunia internasional. Hal ini terbukti dengan diterimanya satu dosen dan tujuh mahasiswa short course asal National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences (NTUNHS), Taiwan, Senin (3/7/2023). Penerimaan mahasiswa dari luar negeri ini menjadi bukti nyata bahwa UNNES terus meningkatkan kolaborasi global dalam bidang pendidikan.

Ketujuh mahasiswa tersebut adalah Hsu Tsung Kai, Wang Kuan Lin, Hsu Chia Le, Xue Yu Quan, Yu Ting Jie, Chen Yu Ching, dan Li Yi Zhen. Mereka berasal dari program studi Excercise and Health Science National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences, Taiwan. Dengan didampingi oleh Huang Wen Ching selaku Dosen Pendamping, ketujuh mahasiswa tersebut akan menjalani program ini selama satu bulan terhitung sejak 30 Mei hingga 27 Juli 2023. Mereka akan terlibat dalam pembelajaran intensif, kegiatan praktikum, serta interaksi budaya dengan mahasiswa lokal.

Hadir menerima rombongan, Wakil Rektor Bidang Riset, Inovasi, dan Sistem Informasi UNNES Dr. Ngabiyanto, M.Si. yang menyambut baik kedatangan dosen dan mahasiswa dari NTUNHS tersebut.

“Program ini merupakan wujud komitmen UNNES dalam mengembangkan kualitas pendidikan yang berstandar internasional. Kolaborasi dengan NTUNHS Taiwan akan memberikan pengalaman berharga bagi kedua belah pihak dalam memperkaya perspektif akademik dan budaya,” ungkap Dr. Ngabiyanto.

Selain itu, program short course ini juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap tantangan global dan perbedaan budaya. Dalam era globalisasi ini, kemampuan untuk beradaptasi dengan beragam lingkungan dan pemahaman yang luas tentang keberagaman budaya sangatlah penting.

Huang Wen Ching selaku Dosen Pendamping menyampaikan terima kasihnya atas sambutan yang diberikan UNNES. Ia berharap dapat belajar dan melakukan pertukaran pengetahuan antara NTUNHS dan UNNES.

“Ini sebuah kesempatan yang luar biasa bagi kami untuk mengenal Indonesia, khususnya Kota Semarang dan UNNES,” jelas Huang Wen Ching

Peserta short course juga dijadwalkan untuk mengunjungi beberapa objek wisata dan destinasi budaya di Semarang dan sekitarnya. Diharapkan, interaksi mereka dengan masyarakat lokal akan memperkaya pengalaman mereka dalam mengenal Indonesia lebih dalam.

Keberhasilan UNNES dalam menarik minat mahasiswa internasional untuk mengikuti program pendidikan di UNNES memberikan dampak yang signifikan khususnya bagi kedua universitas. Melalui pertukaran ilmu dan budaya, mahasiswa NTUNHS dan UNNES dapat memperluas wawasan mereka dan memperoleh pengalaman yang tak ternilai harganya.

Dengan menerima kedatangan tujuh mahasiswa short course asal NTUNHS, UNNES kembali memperkuat reputasinya sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang mampu bersaing di tingkat global. Kolaborasi internasional semacam ini akan memberikan dampak positif dalam memperkaya lingkungan akademik dan membuka pintu menuju peluang kolaborasi yang lebih luas di masa depan.
