Temu Alumni Nasional UNNES 2018, Serahkan Delapan Beasiswa IKA

Kegiatan temu alumni nasional 2018 Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) tidak hanya bertujuan untuk menjalin keakraban antar alumni. Tetapi juga peduli dengan mahasiswa UNNES yang berprestasi yang kurang mampu secara ekonomi dengan membagikan beasiswa kepada delapan mahasiswa, Minggu (4/3) di Gedung Auditorium Sekaran.

Ketua Umum Dewan Pengurus Dewan Ikatan Keluarga Alumni (DPP IKA) UNNES Dr Drs Budiyanto SH MHum menuturkan, IKA UNNES juga peduli terhadap kelangsungan pendidikan mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, dipilih delapan mahasiswa dari seluruh fakuktas di UNNES untuk menerima beasiswa tersebut.

Ia menambahkan, IKA UNNES peduli terhadap kelangsungan pendidikan mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi ini. Sudah ada delapan nama dan masing-masing dari mereka akan menerima Rp 5 juta.

Adapun delapan mahasiswa yang menerima beasiswa tersebut adalah Izzatur Rosyidah dari Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP), Umi Hasanah dari Fakuktas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS), Muhammad Lutfi dari Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (FIS), serta Diah Putri Septiani dari Fakultas Matematika dan IPA (FMIPA). Adapun dari Fakultas Teknik (FT) ada Nina Hartini, dari Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK) ada Afton Aghata, lalu Nur Anita dari Fakuktas Ekonomi (FE), serta Putri Ratnasari dari Fakultas Hukum (FH).

Salah satu penerima beasiswa Afton Agatha menjelaskan, program beasiswa dari IKA UNNES ini sangat membantu mahasiswa yang memiliki prestasi akademik ataupun nonakademik yang belum mendapatkan beasiswa sebelumnya. Tentu hal ini sangat bermanfaat untuk kelancaran pendidikan.

Juga ia sampaikan, proses seleksi dari panitia pun tidak mudah. Ada beberapa syarat yang harus dipenuhi oleh calon penerima beasiswa. Panitia pun menghubungi mahasiswa yang lolos secara langsung.

Afgon bertutur, Saya akan menggunakan beasiswa ini sebaik mungkin. Rencananya akan saya gunakan untuk keringanan biaya kuliah di Unnes, membeli buku-buku materi, serta untuk biaya hidup selama di sini. Semoga program beasiswa dari IKA Unnes ini terus berlanjut agar memberi semangat dan motivasi teman-teman untuk belajar di UNNES.

Sementara itu, dalam kegiatan tersebut juga diumumkan pemenang Turnamen Tennis Antar-alumni UNNES yang diselenggarakan Sabtu-Minggu (3-4/3) lalu. Terdapat tiga kategori dengan masing-masing pemenang. Pada kategori ganda putra perorangan dengan jumlah umur 105 tahun juara 1 didapatkan M Shodik/Abdul Muis, juara 2 Sukarno/Budi Nur, Juara 3 pertama Asri/Muji Waluyo, serta juara 3 kedua Hasto/Wahyudi.

Kategori ganda putra perorangan dengan jumlah umur 90 tahun dimenangkan oleh Suprayitno/Gunawan dan Sholikin/Eko Diantoro. Adapun kategori ganda putra prestasi dimenangkan oleh Limpad Nurrachmad/Ricko Irawan pada juara 1, juara 2 dimenangkan Rizam Ahada/Dony Wirawan, juara 3 pertama diraih Andry Akhiruyanto/Alvindra, serta Arief Setyawan/Agus Raharjo meraih juara 3 kedua.
