Teknologi dan Empati Bersatu, Inovasi Mahasiswa UNNES Bantu Perempuan Griya Welas Asih Semarang

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) terus mendorong mahasiswa untuk menghadirkan inovasi yang berdampak sosial dan kemanusiaan. Salah satu karya inspiratif lahir dari Tim PKM-PM AMLI Al-Muhtada Squad yang berfokus pada pemulihan emosional remaja putri di Rumah Singgah Griya Welas Asih Semarang melalui inovasi Journey’s Journal dan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) Healing.

Griya Welas Asih Semarang merupakan rumah singgah bagi remaja putri yang mengalami kehamilan di luar nikah, banyak di antaranya merupakan korban kekerasan seksual. Di tempat ini, tantangan terbesar bukan hanya pemenuhan kebutuhan fisik, tetapi juga proses pemulihan psikologis yang sering kali tersembunyi dan sulit diungkapkan dengan kata-kata.

Para remaja di Griya Welas Asih seharusnya tengah berfokus pada pendidikan, namun harus berhadapan dengan trauma dan tekanan emosional yang berat. Mereka membutuhkan dukungan yang lebih untuk membangun kembali resiliensi, yakni kemampuan untuk bangkit dan menemukan kedamaian dalam diri.

Program bertajuk “Journey’s Journal: Literasi Emosi dan Pemulihan Psikologis Berbasis Virtual Reality di Griya Welas Asih Semarang” ini digagas oleh Tim PKM-PM AMLI Al-Muhtada Squad yang diketuai oleh Rosi Daruniah, dengan anggota Fitri Novita Sari, Rezza Salsabella Putri, dan Ahmad Firman Syah.

Mereka dibimbing oleh Adi Satrio Ardiansyah, S.Pd., M.Pd.

Melalui teknologi VR Healing, tim berupaya menciptakan pengalaman meditatif yang menenangkan untuk membantu mengurangi stres dan trauma. Inovasi ini juga membuka ruang komunikasi yang lebih sehat dengan membuat pikiran peserta lebih rileks sebelum menjalani sesi pendampingan psikologis.

Selain media virtual, tim juga mengembangkan buku reflektif Journey’s Journal sebagai sarana bagi para remaja untuk menuliskan dan mengekspresikan perasaan mereka. Melalui proses menulis ini, mereka dilatih berpikir konstruktif, mengubah pola pikir dari korban menjadi penyintas, serta menghubungkan literasi emosi, mengenali dan mengelola perasaan dengan literasi digital melalui pemanfaatan teknologi Virtual Reality sebagai alat terapi.

Bagi Tim PKM-PM AMLI Al-Muhtada Squad, Journey’s Journal bukan sekadar program pengabdian, tetapi bentuk kerjasama jangka panjang untuk membantu remaja putri di Griya Welas Asih mengenali kembali kekuatan diri mereka. Dengan perpaduan antara teknologi dan pendekatan reflektif, program ini menjadi wujud nyata mahasiswa UNNES dalam menerapkan nilai konservasi “humanity and empowerment” melalui pendidikan dan inovasi sosial.

Melalui karya ini, UNNES menunjukkan komitmen bahwa pendidikan tinggi tidak hanya melahirkan pengetahuan, tetapi juga kepedulian dan solusi nyata bagi masyarakat.
