Tim SAR dan Mahapala Unnes Borong Juara

Tim SAR (Search and Rescue) putri dan tim Mahasiswa Pecinta Alam (Mahapala) putri Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) meraih  juara I dan II dalam Lomba Orienteering Brahmahardhika ( LOB ) XVI yang diselenggarakan oleh Mapala Brahmahardhika FKIP UNS, Minggu 24 Juli 2011. Tim SAR terdiri atas Istikomah dan Hermawati, sedangkan tim Mahapala Nurul Chasanah Hidayati dan Nur Sari.

Tri Mawardi ketua Mahapala Unnes mengatakan kegiatan yang dipusatkan di kabupaten Karanganyar ini diikuti 71 team dari Mapala seluruh Indonesia memperebutkan 6 thropy untuk kategori putra dan putri. Mahapala Unnes menerjunkan 4 team,  2 putra dan 2 putri.

“Orienteering merupakan olahraga yang memadukan antara ketepatan ilmu navigasi, kekuatan fisik, stamina, dan manajemen waktu. Peserta dituntut untuk berlari mencari titik – titik point yang terdapat di Peta dalam waktu yang terbatas, pada umumnya  4 – 5 jam,” kata Tri.

Sebelumnya

Mahapala Unnes juga meraih juara I, II, dan III pada  perlombaan orienteering tingkat nasional MNAC ( Mepa National Adventure Competition )  2011 yang diselenggarakan oleh Mahasiswa Ekonomi Pecinta Alam (MEPA) Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta (UNS) Minggu (17/7).

Mereka adalah juara I team Mahapala 3 (Tri Mawardi, Putra Triya), juara II team MAHAPALA 5 (Nurul Chasanah, Nur Sari), dan juara III team MAHAPALA 4 (Ika Novita dan Istiqomah).

“Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama dua hari (16-17/7) mengambil lokasi di pegunungan yang merupakan perbatasan antara kabupaten Sukoharjo dan Wonogiri diikuti 49 team wakil dari Mapala seluruh Indonesia,” kata Tri Mawardi.

    jangan kalah sm mapala2 lainnya…
    tak tunggu ya juara2lainnya terutama yg kejuaraan yg bertemakan KONSERVASI….
    semoga MAHAPALA bs membimbing adik2nya untuk menanamkan jiwa KONSERVASI.
