Tawarkan Solusi Inovatif Perilaku Konsumtif di Era Fast Fashion, Mahasiswa UNNES Raih Pendanaan Kemendikbudristek

Sebagai manusia yang hidup di era yang semakin modern, dimana berbagai macam jenis barang dan kebutuhan bisa didapatkan dengan mudah dan cepat, tren fast fashion sangat menarik perhatian banyak orang. Tren Fast Fashion yang saat ini kian menjamur merupakan sebuah konsep di dunia fashion adalah membuat produk dengan cepat, siap untuk dipakai, namun cepat berganti saat ini kian menjamur.

Salah satu dampak negatif dari fast fashion adalah memicu perilaku konsumtif. Perilaku konsumtif di sini adalah dorongan untuk membeli sebuah produk tanpa mempertimbangkan kebutuhan. Perilaku konsumtif ini dapat disimpulkan dari perasaan untuk memenuhi kesenangan belaka tanpa berpikir apakah produk tersebut memang dibutuhkan atau tidak.

Oleh karena itu, dalam rangka menekan dan meminimalisir perilaku konsumtif, terciptalah sebuah ide pembuatan Daily Tracker Self –Control dari Mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). Ide ini masuk dalam salah satu judul penelitian, dari 34 judul yang lolos mendapatkan pendanaan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) tahun 2024 yang mana merupakan forum yang dikembangkan Direktorat Kemahasiswaan dan Studi di bawah Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Kemenristek Dikti) Republik Indonesia.

Dalam penelitian yang berjudul “Conscious Consumerism: Efektivitas Daily Tracker Self-Control untuk Mengatasi Perilaku Konsumtif di tengah Gelombang Fast Fashion”, para mahasiswa Psikologi UNNES menghasilkan modul intervensi yang mana dalam Daily Tracker Self-Control setiap orang akan dituntut untuk beraktivitas selama 10 hari, sesuai dengan prosedur yang sudah disusun secara struktural. Prosedur ini diharapkan bisa menghasilkan dampak positif atau dalam hal ini berhasil mengurangi perilaku konsumtif.

Terdapat lima prosedur yang tersusun secara rasional dalam Daily Tracker Self-Control, yaitu: (1) Mencatat riwayat pembelian barang-barang, (2) Mencatat hasil renungan terkait riwayat perilaku konsumsi, (3) Membuat rencana anggaran belanja, (4) Budgeting (mengelola keuangan), (5) Evaluasi setelah melakukan prosedur Daily Tracker Self-Control.

Adapun anggota tim yang berhasil mendapatkan pendanaan adalah Akhfiya Nasywa Faridah (Ketua), Dharma Shanti, Rifdah Dwi Syafrina, Ainun Ni’matul Muthoharoh, dan Yuniar Hasana.

Mereka dibimbing langsung oleh Amri Hana Muhammad, S.Psi, S.Sy, M.A.

Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa memfasilitasi mahasiswa Indonesia mengembangkan dan menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan yang telah didapat selama kuliah kepada masyarakat umum. Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa memiliki 8 bidang, yakni Riset Eksakta (RE), Riset Sosial Humaniora (RSH), Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PM), Penerapan IPTEK (PI), Karsa Cipta (KC), Karya Inovatif (KI), Kewirausahaan (K), Video Gagasan Konstruktif (VGK).

Riset ini diharapkan bisa menjadi titik terang yang bisa membantu banyak orang. Dengan menerapkan semua prosedur sesuai dengan Daily Tracker Self-Control, semoga perilaku konsumtif dapat berkurang sedikit demi sedikit.
