“Gatotkaca Winisuda” dan Kisah Pemimpin Pengayom

Paguyuban Wayang Orang  Panggung (Wopa) Provinsi Jawa Tengah bekerja sama dengan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menggelar pentas wayang orang dengan lakon Gatotkaca Winisuda dalam rangka memperingati Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia di auditorium kampus Sekaran, Selasa malam (14/6).

Ketua Wopa Jawa Tengah Drs H Supardjo mengatakan, pementasan wayang orang ini menceritakan pertentangan suksesi memperebutkan kerajaan pringgodani yang diserahkan ke Arimbi menimbulkan pertentangan karena Arimbi seorang ibu atau perempuan dianggap tidak layak untuk memimpin kerajaan.

Arimbi menyerahkan amanat itu kepada Gatotkaca, namun brojodento saudaranya Arimbi tidak setuju akhirnya menimbulkan peperangan antara brojodento dengan Gatotkaca yang dimenangkan oleh Gatotkaca sebagai pemegang amanah dari Arimbi.

Filosofinya berkaitan dengan hari lingkungan hidup se-dunia ini, Gatotkaca adalah seorang sosok pemimpin yang bisa mengayomi, bekerjasama dan memperhatikan saudara-saudaranya.

Acara diawali dengan Tari Sekaringrat karya Usrek dan dosen Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni  Restu Lanjari. “Tari Sekaringrat ini menggambarkan kejayaan Unnes. Tari yang dibawakan sembilan orang penari ini merupakan simbol dari jumlah seluruh fakultas yang dimiliki oleh Unnes yaitu delapan fakultas dan satu Pascasarjana. Kumpulan Fakultas ini membentuk sebuah satu kesatuan dalam rangka mewujudkan Unnes sebagai Universitas Konservasi” kata Restu dosen Sendratasik FBS.

Dia, menjelaskan penggunaan properti dadap dengan gunungan berlambang konservasi, merupakan gambaran konservasi yang akan menjadi bunganya dunia.

Sebelumnya, Rektor Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo mengatakan wayang orang adalah satu simbul filosofi yang sangat luar biasa karena di situ tergambar bagaimana kebaikan-kebaikan diabdikan bagi sesama hidup.

“Bagi Unnes kegiatan ini dikaitkan dengan hari lingkungan hidup se-dunia sebenarnya mengingatkan kepada jatidiri bagi setiap orang warga dunia ini apa sebenarnya yang harus dilakukan dalam hidup dan kehidupan ini” kata Rektor Unnes.

Dia, juga mengatakan peringatan hari lingkungan hidup ini masih berlanjut, hari jumat nanti di Unnes juga ada apel dilanjutkan dengan merawat tanaman yang sudah ada, membersihkan lingkungan, dan melakukan pengabdian-pengabdian sosial lainnya.
