Tampil Perdana, “Slendhang Asmara” Hibur Penonton

Mengusung lakon Slendhang Asmara, grup ketoprak Cipta Budaya mengawali Festival Ketoprak Mahasiswa 2013, Senin (16/12) malam di FBS Unnes.

Berangkat dari kisah klasik Jaka Tarub-Nawangwulan, grup yang hampir semua pemainnya mahasiswa semester V Pendidikan Bahasa Jawa FBS Unnes itu pun berhasil menghibur penonton. Tak jarang tawa pecah di antara ratusan penonton, bahkan sesekali mereka menghadiahkan tepuk tangan buat penampil.

Dari sisi jalan cerita, sebenarnya tidak ada hal yang baru dari Slendhang Asmara atau yang dikenal sebagai cerita rakyat Jaka Tarub itu. Cerita bermula dari tujuh bidadari yang turun ke kahyangan, mandi di sendang.

Ketika saatnya mereka hendak pulang, hanya Nawangwulan seorang yang teradang. Sebab, selendangnya raib. Padahal, tanpa selendang itu, muskil baginya untuk bisa terbang, kembali ke kahyangan.

Maka, tinggalah Nawangwulan seorang di tepian sendang, di tengah hutan, sementara waktu kian merangkak menuju malam.

Singkat cerita, Jaka Tarub membawa bidadari itu pulang dan menjadikannnya istri hingga kemudian lahir jabang bayi perempuan, Nawangsih. Namun di ujung cerita, Nawangwulan menemukan selendang yang dicuri Jaka Tarub. Dengan selendang itu, dia terbang kembali ke kahyangan, meninggalkan Nawangsih dan Jaka Tarub yang hanya bisa memandang dalam ratapan kecewa.

Di tangan para pemain Cipta Budaya, cerita yang sudah demikian lekat dengan para penonton yang pada umumnya mahasiswa ini justru berhasil menjadi fondasi untuk membangun komunikasi secara efektif. Kuluwesan sekaligus kemampuan improvisasi pemeran Simbok Jaka Tarub, misalnya, patut mendapatkan catatan khusus pada pentas kali ini.

Ketika berita ini diturunkan, sedang berlangsung pementasan kedua, Pecahing Dhadha Wutahing Ludira, oleh grup Wahyu Mataram. Setelah itu, segera tampil Asmara Rinaseng Nala oleh grup Ngripta Carita. Festival akan berlanjut hingga Selasa (17/12) malam.
